As a Navy veteran who spent multiple tours isolated out on the ocean, I can tell you those “care” packages from home are EVERYTHING! They’re a lifeline that keeps you and everyone else connected with home. The U.S. Postal Service helped keep us sane and grounded.

I can only laugh.
I was born in Scranton. My parents live in a rural area 45 mins away. They voted for Trump in 2016.
I left home to serve in the US military and stupidity didn’t bother to vote in 2016, I was deployed overseas on my last tour of service and didn’t want to hassle with absentee; I also didn’t know what Trump was and did not see his potential danger.
Both my parents and I will be voting for Biden this year, it is a simple decision.
Trump has needlessly politicized so many pointless issues. He has sown division. He has destroyed public trust in our institutions by installing partisan factions. He has weakened our international authority. And has failed even the most basic tests of leadership.
