What Ever Happened To ‘Individual 1’ Case? Add It To Garland’s List Of Loose Ends | Rachel Maddow

Rachel Maddow points out the dubious behavior by Trump Attorney General Bill Barr toward the case in which Donald Trump was labelled as unindicted co-conspirator, 'Individual 1,' and the open questions about the status of that case, and notes that it is yet another awkward mess for Merrick Garland to sort out after he is confirmed as the new attorney general. 1. Cohen is the only person who spoke against Dolt 45 and thus was the only one who didn’t get a pardon.
And now, he’s the key witness.
    Payback is a b!

    1. @John Patriot “Trump ain’t got nothing” means Trump has something. Two negatives in a sentence (ain’t and nothing) turn the sentence into a positive. Now google the 20 Traits of a Psychopath and learn all about the Real Donald Trump, code names Individual 1, Dolt 45, and Agolf Twittler.

    2. @Trap Daddy
Trump 2022! Trump 2023! Trump 2024! Trump 2025! Trump continued to live in prison until he ended himself. <---- Future Fox Headline "News."

    1. You will never see him in a jumpsuit…not because he won’t be convicted but because, 1 NY DOC inmates wear hunter green not orange., 2 NY banned wearing your prison gear to court.

    2. Why? He played ball and lied about the “fair and secure election”.
That should buy him some leniency, shouldn’t it?

    3. @Andrew Mitchell the only two who were better were Betsy DeVos and Elaine Chao. They will never face any music.

  2. Random question: How much trouble, could AG Barr be in for ‘Abuse of Office’ for interferring withan ongoing case?

    1. Not random, I’m wondering that myself. All the damage he did in office, he deserves some consequences as well.

    2. What’s crazy is Barr has never actually investigated, charged or tried a case. But like you I am curious about this question as well.

  3. I believe that it would also be appropriate for the citizens of this USA to refuse to pay taxes as an act of civil disobedience if Trump is not indicted for tax fraud and appropriately sentenced.

    1. All of DJT butt kissers should be investigated because they are just as responsible for everything bad that happened during DJT’S years in office. They all helped to create that monster.

    1. Does him playing ball not count for anything? He did lie about the “fair and secure election” for you.

    2. @William Springer wow you are deranged if you think the American people weren’t patiently waiting to vote that asshat out . I know I was . And 11 million more votes says it too .

    3. @William Springer LOL. Remember when trump failed to prove voter fraud in court to his own appointed judges?

Yea, me too. Good times. 🤣🤣

    1. Come on, it’s America. The rich political class don’t face justice. But some poor minority will get busted with a joint in the wrong state today and spend five years in prison. America sucks.

    2. @Adam Langton If the rich politicians don’t face justice, then why did Gerald Ford pardon Richard Nixon..? Why was Trump talking about pardoning himself..?

    1. If you use an ellipsis, you needn’t capitalize what comes after it. The fact that you did so suggests you were capitalizing it to match the preceding words, thus your acronym should’ve been FACTSA.
I just found that fun. I amused myself.
      Anyway, i agree.

  4. Quick someone get the popcorn…
trump is back in the news and the republican senators CANNOT vote this one away this time!!

  5. The corruption of the justice system under Trump was far to serious and widespread to be ignored. Those who willingly collaborated with Trumps undermining of the justice system must be brought to book.

    1. Oh Mary you sound so young this is life your confessed from lack of oxygen and to much green house gas in your mask. Get some air and clear your brain.

    2. @Friz and maybe your hatred of the other side clouds your judgement… funny that Cohen went to prison based on evidence he conspired to help individual one but no matter you clearly believe everything Trump says and that stops you ever questioning what actually is true!
Start challenging your own side because when you do it ensures they reach standards expected but when you don’t you give them freedom to lie and cheat 😗

    3. @Jimmy Crackcorn another with hatred of the other team who resorts to sarcasm when actual facts are hard to deal with

    4. @Friz i know your not used to a news organization admitting they were wrong after watching so much fox

  6. I can only hope there is a late night mass round up of everyone in the former administration with a live stream so we can watch all the criminals get their come up’ins
