What Made Nancy Reagan An 'Essential Partner' To Her Husband | Morning Joe | MSNBC

    1. The Kremlin was drowning in vodka while the WH and US Capital was drowning in bourbon and metaphysicians.

    2. @Christine King You never met Joan Quigley. Merv Griffin did and had her on his show many times due to her very accurate predictions. Nancy met Joan while on the show before her husband was president. The Merv Griffin show was the most popular show on all American television at the time. Joan Quigley was far beyond any normal astrologer. Whether hoax or not, Ronald and Nancy Reagan followed Joan Quigley’s instructions on the timing of things to the letter, which is a matter of history, whether you consider astrology a hoax or not.

    3. @Michael Millican Apparently you believe celestial alignments control destiny, yet claim it is unimportant if astrology is a hoax, then maintain that a president of the United states and his pushy wife used it to determine foreign policy. You suffer from classic cognitive dissonance.

    4. @Christine King You suffer from a lack of historical facts concerning the Reagan presidency, of which *Joan Quigley* , is being washed away from for her roll in it. This isn’t whether or not astrology has any merit, this is about history and what truths should be accepted about the Reagan’s activities supporting each other throughout their time in the white house. You maintain that the Reagans had nothing to do with astrology and that it did not dictate anything within their time in the white house, which is totally not true, it was all over the news at the time during and after and being suppressed as much as possible by their political supporting media. Those are the facts whether you personally accept them or not.

    1. @Josef Jerbils I think Biden is getting senile and he should’ve just retired and let the younger generations take over. Now, Bernie could run laps around BOTH Brump and Tiden. I had a suspicion that you were tryna criticize today’s MSM propaganda, but I’ve run into enough Neo-N@zis online that I stopped giving people the benefit of the doubt, plus your username doesn’t mention it, just says the guy’s name. Maybe you should change it so your point comes across even more clearly

    2. @Ellie B. I don’t have a clearly defined purpose on Youboob, I just wanna see how brainwashed people… on BOTH sides… have become. It’s quite scary, to be honest.

    3. @Ellie B. There is no middle ground anymore. It’s like the battle of the Marne in WWI, pick a trench but the middle is “No-Man’s land”

    4. @Ellie B. Bernie is obsessed with the socialist ideology, except he refuses to acknowledge its failures. Remember what Margaret Thatcher once said, “the only thing wrong with socialism is that you run out of other people’s money”.

  1. The whole “War on Drugs” era was a cover for bringing drugs into inner cities…
I still feel bad for those kids from the whole THE FRANKLIN scandal of Omaha Nebraska.
The Reagans had that story buried, faster than a cat could lick its own tail.

    1. YUP they had the war on drugs and then legalized big pharma-that happened to get the money to corp. america. NOW we have all the drug addicts from big pharma. Thanks Reagan!

    2. @Emeraldforest oh i’m very familiar with black leaders, especially here in Chicago. I watched them kick blm out of here and then told them to not come back. They left, and never came back lol.

    3. @Jeff Libby she made sure she got her clothing from the best designers, never paying for them nor claiming them on taxes. She could afford to dress well. Is still didn’t make her look good.

    1. US politicians were steeped in bourbon and star-gazing while their Cold War adversaries were steeped in vodka.

  2. She was a piece of work! She knew her husband was weak in the head and used it to her advantage. She ran her own agenda and the country suffered the consequences

  3. Does this author totally ignore the fact that Reagan was 100% gaga by his second term, and Nancy was the brains behind everything of the last four years?

  4. Comment section will probably not last long before it’s disabled. 😄 Despicable should be the title.

    1. Every time I see Reagan now I remember his call to Nixon calling African leaders monkeys who recently learned how to wear shoes…

  5. These historical excursions are so insightful and often eye opening! They deserve a their own program! Please do them more frequently!

    1. This is just the beginning of Republican revisionism, tRump wasn’t really one of us nonsense. So, let us harken back to the height of the modern GOP, Reagan, when men were manly and ladies delicate, when family values prevailed, we knew our enemies and conspicuous consumption was the norm. It was grand to look down on the poor, racism was tolerated (welfare queens), the environment something to be used. No coincidence this came out so close to Boehner’s self-acquittal. It’s not historical, it is entertainment.

  6. More mythology. You should read what Milton Berle said about Nancy, near the end of his life, if you want to know who Nancy REALLY was and how she initially got involved with Ronald Reagan.

  7. Miss flirty would sneak Frank Sinatra in for private conversation, not to be disturbed by anyone. She was in enamored by him.
