What the Taliban did as soon as the US left Afghanistan

Following the complete withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, some Taliban members are seen celebrating the US departure on the streets of Kabul as well as taking over the Kabul airport hangar the US military left behind. CNN's Rosemary Church and Nick Paton Walsh report.

  1. 85 billion could have housed every homeless person in America. Our leaders tossed it like it was pocket change.

    1. “CMON MAN, THAT WAS A DAY OR TWO AGO “… ” hold on, I have to check my watch…” Joke Biden.

    2. @Leroy 100 Fat chance..  Orange Man had very little to do with helping this country in a sane way of dealing with covid. He absolutely did WAY more damage than any kind of good. He totally appears to have no clue in caring for anyone but himself. I feel sad for people that can not see that.

    3. @Leroy 100 Any President could have easily put a stamp of approval on “warp speed” Big pharma was already on it long before the Orange Man even knew about it, he just put a name one it. I’m surprised that he approved of it at all, it’s not in his nature. However, what I’m not surprised about is OM taking full credit for it now that the present administration actually got it into peoples arms, unlike the last administration which would have stupidly said it was up to the states to figure out, I wonder how long that would have taken..

    4. @Chester jade its because you need a pair of glasses and then let somebody TEACH YOU TO READ .. because none of the” bull ” that you just wrote makes any sense .. but if you want to find out which branch of government controls America….just google it

    1. @calivax so trump won the election and is president now and gave the order to leave afganestan while arming the taliban to the teeth?

    2. @Justin Thomas we left 85billion Arsenal in AF source US Government Accounting Office (GAO) 22,174 Humvees, 643 M1117, MxxPro min-proof vehicles, 169 M113 armored personnel carriers, 42,000 pick-up trucks and suv , 64,363 machine guns ,8,000 trucks ,162,043 radios, 16,053 night vision goggles , 358,530assult rifles , 126,295 pistols, 176 artillery pieces, 33 mi-17 helicopters , 33 UH-60 blackhawks , 43 Md530 helicopters .4 c-130 transport ,23 embargo EmB 314/A29Super Tucano, 28 Cessna 208, 10 Cessna AC/208 stick aircraft

    3. Look at ur president !!!!!!!!!!!!!!we left 85billion Arsenal in AF source US Government Accounting Office (GAO) 22,174 Humvees, 643 M1117, MxxPro min-proof vehicles, 169 M113 armored personnel carriers, 42,000 pick-up trucks and suv , 64,363 machine guns ,8,000 trucks ,162,043 radios, 16,053 night vision goggles , 358,530assult rifles , 126,295 pistols, 176 artillery pieces, 33 mi-17 helicopters , 33 UH-60 blackhawks , 43 Md530 helicopters .4 c-130 transport ,23 embargo EmB 314/A29Super Tucano, 28 Cessna 208, 10 Cessna AC/208 stick aircraft

    4. @Justin Thomas bro just looked at my Twitter right now they are flying the helicopters with hanged people

    1. Pakistan was behind to hide them and trained them. Many Afghans also helping the devil taliban. USA can’t defeat a coward hidden mosquitoes

    2. @Alex T army general’s don’t make decisions, corporations make decisions that’s why your wars are full of lies and never make sense

    3. USA has just shown his braveness innocents and common people by killing them and Taliban have shown their braveness just only USA by using opponent weapons against their enemies It’s a joke and a fact.

    1. @DeskAgent you’re biased. trump made the deal that made this happen so yes, he’s a fault. And don’t tell me he’s no longer president because former President Obama was given responsibility for all of trump’s ineptitudes and idiotic decisions. There was no way President Biden could have chosen a perfect plan with such stupid deal made between trump and the Taliban.

    2. @poot and beans they did destroy what was left behind. Also keep in mind, there will be drine strikes at some point. Also, they have no way to maintain any of it, and with the heat, it will be unusable…

    3. 28 Black Hawks left behind, and the Taliban are driving them around on the tarmac like bumper cars. I guess China will come in and train them and provide them with aftermarket parts from their reversed engineered version.

    4. @Winnie Daou You are right… Trump’s no longer president, unfortunately, as this never would have happened under his watch. Trump is NOT in control of this situation… Biden and his friends are. And Obama is too busy throwing parties to care.
And which ‘ineptitudes’ are you referring to? Could it be the booming economy? Or the historically low unemployment rates? Or perhaps the best control of our southern border? Or maybe it was moving our embassy to Jerusalem? Could it be that he got North Korea to stop playing with nukes? Maybe it was his punishments on Russia for the Ukraine? How about his embargoes on the Chinese for their oppression… something Biden and Obama weren’t that keen on? How about that time he actually demanded that European nations pay their fair share for security or the time he walked out of the useless climate control meetings? How about all the useless and outdated regulations he got rid of? Perhaps you forgot that it was Trump that eliminated the red tape and produced not one, but three vaccines? And you forget, that it was Trump that stopped all traffic from China due to pandemic, against the advice of your heroes Biden and Obama? There’s much more. It’s ignoramuses like yourself who paint these false images out of shear hatred of the orange man who WILL eventually fail and be crushed by their own stupidity.

    5. @GiGi B I just hope they are able to figure out the black hawks like they tried to figure out that exercise equipment.

  2. Let’s all take a second to appreciate the first time that CNN correctly used the term “automatic weapons.”

    1. @Russell D oh I understand that it’s some semantics bullsh!t he’s trying to funny I’m liberal and own a lot of guns I know most if not all rifles sold here are semi auto I Kno the media doesn’t label them correctly some times but people get what their saying

    2. @WIGGYDON1 Yeah, that is the point of watching both right and left wing media narratives. All media narratives have a financial goal and the intelligence agencies attempt to control the media through leaks. But they are still leaking against Biden while the media covers for him. This suggests that the media’s objective does not always align with the intelligence objective. CNN has been in the middle lately which is a huge surprise.

Even the basic issues that a party supports is deceptive: The Dems (not Repubs) are responsible for billions of guns being frantically bought up (they know what the people’s reaction will be to their words) & Fox was Trumps biggest media enemy during the election when they called AZ.

They have think tanks with the smartest people in the world strategizing how to control us. 🙂

Jesus said: “My people, you are being tested by Biden’s actions in Afghanistan, your border problems, and your vaccine mandates. You have the Democrats taking away your freedoms, and they should never have been allowed to take over your government. Now they want to turn your country into a socialist communist country. Your people are not rebelling against these vaccine mandates, and if you do not rise up against it, you will see Covid booster shots and even the mark of the beast forced on you in the same way. You do not need a vaccine, and the shots do not prevent you from getting Covid-19 or even the seasonal flu. You have been seeing many chemtrails in the sky that are causing flu like symptoms. Continue your protesting of the vaccines that are being mandated for the nurses, as you stand outside of the hospital. Once there is enough resistance, the liberals will back off on their mandates. Do not be fooled by any temporary stoppage, because they still want everyone vaccinated, as the evil ones try to reduce the population. Resist taking the vaccines and even resist the testing that can be contaminated. Trust in Me to heal people with the Good Friday oil and the exorcism water. If the authorities threaten your lives, I will bring My Warning and call you to the safety of My refuges.”

    1. @Aron TB Suchkind absolutely correct… but we did go… and we now we armed a terrorist organization better than some modern armies. It’s not a question of should we have gone. It’s the way we left putting that country into a worse place than it has ever been in. It’s like you offer to give your neighbor a hand with building a shed and in the middle of them putting the screws in to hold it together you just let go went home and let it collapse on top of them.

    2. @notyuu USA is still the world’s #1 arms dealer. You think all those weapons are not resold to terrorists?! LOL

    1. @Keti V P It was the Pentagons plan, approved under Trump. Biden didn’t countermand ANYTHING the Pentagon was already doing. You were saying something?

    2. @Nobody Knows Oh so Pentagon under Trump can sign an agreement, But Pentagon under Biden can not rescind it or change it in anyway? So Biden has no influence at all? LOL , Yep Biden still owns this debacle.

    3. @Keti V P Biden doesn’t micromanage. You are pathetic if you think Biden is to blame for any of something he didn’t actually order them to do. If anything, he is to blame for not completely throwing out the Pentagon plan and going with something that worked. Like with, you know, Operation Warp Speed? Vaccine distribution was stuck in the mud until Biden threw out warp speed and had real planners take over. But even then, Biden uses talented people, he doesn’t micromanage anyone.

I still don’t hear you taking the blame for Trump signing the surrender agreement in February 2020….

    4. @Nobody Knows LOL, I see you have TDS, good for you. Biden was so helpless he couldn’t rescind the agreement when he did reverse many others signed by Trump? Nothing you say is going to obsolve Biden from this Fiasco. Biden doesnt need to micomanage but he is the commander in chief afterall, so he bears the responsibilty for whatever Pentagon did under him.

  3. You don’t just forget to destroy weapons and military armaments. This was totally intentional for some dark reason previously agreed upon.

    1. @SAMTRON5000 : You agree with leaving our enemies working military armaments? What the HELL is wrong with you?

    2. @SAMTRON5000 : There is no Afghan army any longer. They dropped their weapons and ran away when the Taliban invaded. Keep up if you think you feel the need to make comments. You appear as a uninformed ding bat!

  4. “If you’re not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” – Malcolm X

    1. A gutter religion by any other name would still smell like a cesspool. Isn’t that what Louis Farrakhan called it?

    1. War is over. Arm the Taliban. Sign the treaty. Legitimize and recognize the Islamic Emirate. Nobel peace prize for Biden.

    2. @X Man yeah the USA invaded the Middle East for our cheap gas. Isis retaliated with a terrorist attack. We’ve been there since

    3. @Albie Oval Are you with the terrorists or something? That’s not true at all about the Oil for cheap gas. Even if it was they owe us for what we have done for them anyway. I say take half of what they have In oil. That’s what you get from flying planes into American Buildings.

  7. Wow. For what was supposed to be a “rag-tag” band of misfits, those dudes have some nice looking uniforms and gear. Wonder where they got all that?

    1. @J A K E yes, what a Horrific sight. CNN wont show that though, or the audio recording of the door to door killing of US allies. Nor will the liberal media talk about the kill list.

    1. US has the strongest Military Complex, and it has profited immensely. There is no profit in winning, only loosing slowly.

  8. The taliban doesn’t have the resources to maintain that type of fleet. They’ll need money, oil, parts, mechanics, qualified pilots, etc. truth of it is, many of those aircrafts will probably fall into disrepair. They are just brandishing them because the Americans left. When the Russians left, they also left many, at that time, sophisticated equipment behind.

    1. @Moises Huerta your not getting my point, the equipment left by Russia can equate to billions of dollars in today’s money based on inflation.

    2. They’ll just sell it all to China, Russia, Iran, etc. Who will then reverse engineer the military tech

    3. @Jaycee Chan I totally get your point.
Can’t equate 85 billion dollars of Russian 80s tech with 85 billion of American 21st century tech. Or can you? Which would you choose?

    1. @Mary Abdi Yeah too bad they didn’t leave behind the US air support that they were trained to rely on….

“The consequences of a rapid exit are both predictable and unacceptable. A hasty withdrawal would create a vacuum that terrorists — including ISIS and Al Qaeda — would instantly fill, just as happened before Sept. 11.” Trump 2017

    2. The U.S. bears “major responsibility” for the Afghan military’s collapse and the Taliban’s success, says former U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan Ryan Crocker. “It began under President Trump when he authorized negotiations between the U.S. and the Taliban without the Afghan government in the room.”

Those were surrender talks, he says, in which we forced the Afghan government to release over 5,000 Taliban prisoners, who immediately returned to fighting.

Trump’s former national security advisor, H.R. McMaster, also termed the Trump document a “surrender agreement.“

Trump’s former defense secretary, Mark Esper, accused Trump of undermining the agreement by repeatedly urging that U.S. troops leave even though the Taliban did not comply with the terms of the negotiated agreement.

In fact, Trump actively sabotaged the peace talks by repeatedly tweeting his intention to withdraw all U.S. troops by May 1, thus removing any incentive for the Taliban to negotiate.

    3. Really… Hummm.

  9. If you’re feeling useless just remember … it took 20 years … 2 trillion dollars and 4 presidents
To replace the Taliban with the Taliban

    You can only laugh

    1. @Bani Rahman tell that to the families of the 13 service members who died. No, my friend, 9/11 started this war on terror. Biden, in his diminished capacity, completely screwed up the exit. I’m not a fan of Bush, but Biden and all his supporters are destroying America faster than it took the twin towers to collapse.

    2. @Gohar & Co they are not scared? What a joke man. Why they ran away when usa was there ? They ran to pakistan .

  10. I love how CNN always tries to avoid what’s actually going on, and tries to focus on things to steer viewers away from the problems right in front of them. Unreal.
