For the last four years I’ve known this would not be an easy night.
Yeah. Every news outlet was saying it would take days before the winner is determined. At least the campaigning is over
I can definitely tell you one thing for sure nobody will believe any polls anymore
Why not? The polls in 2016 were actually right. Hillary won the popular vote by 3 million votes and it was within the margin of error. It was the Electoral College that lost her the presidency. The polls gear off of number of votes cast.
I really hate polls. I know it’s supposed to be a science, but some days it feels like they’re just causing trouble. Political parties have their own internal polling anyway, which is more accurate.
They did slow down the counting in some of the states so the repugs tried

This will take days to count – trump hasn’t come out and declared himself the winner though! Thought he’d be out congratulating himself.
If he had listened to what he said to himself, he lost the presidency already. Would he declare his loss now? lol? But we have a such lawful election system that, he’ll have a fair chance of getting re-elected in coming few more days. Let all the votes be counted, I hope he’s coming to his real senses now. If he wins, he’ll be our president no doubt about it. But, trying to get things by hook or crook, don’t think he’ll get another chance.

We need to make sure ALL the mail in ballots are counted. These numbers don’t add up. There was 100 MILLION early ballots cast.
Many haven’t been counted yet. Once they get counted Biden should be doing MUCH better.

Biden/Harris 2020. I voted early, and my vote wasn’t as much FOR Biden, as it was AGAINST Trump.

It won’t be called tonight. Several key states expect to take at least one to two days more. Republicans waited until 12 December when it was Bush vs Gore. They can wait a bit for these results.

Early/absentee voting 100 million.
Election day voting 50-60 million.
Most early voting are for democrats.

They did it on a small scale in 2016, but are now emboldened and are doing the same on a large scale. But now since all the branches of government are under republicans, nobody can do anything about it.
Republicans are like cheating poker players who rigged the machines, but Democrats are naively thinking that they need to study more, try harder and become better players. It’s sad to be so naive and studious.

If Trump wins this election – as seems increasingly likely – will Americans PLEASE not continue to pretend to be a Christian nation with Christian values? The reality is that it will have twice voted for a man who is morally bankrupt and the antithesis of everything Jesus stood for.
What makes you think that Americans are any different from Trump in that respect? American christianity is bigoted and hypocritical at best.
The reason why the Polls are flawed is because most of the red states are not going to the polls vs the blue states’ polls turn-outs.
