Of course not, but they do give some good clues as to what you may be playing at fiscally. Donations, income sources, gifts over a certain dollar amount, etc. all show on your taxes. These are important things to know about a person you are giving immense amounts of power to.

Given what we’ve seen over the last 5 years, I’m sure the taxes will reveal that his income is greatly overstated in the public forum. Moreover, it’s likely that most of his income is hidden. Any wrongdoings are unlikely to be exposed in an IRS filing. He a long time ago realized he can make a lot more money with donations than he can with hotels.
