    1. I’ve been layed off since last Thursday and have called hundreds of times. I finally got through and they’ve changed the setup to where they just take your name and social and say they’ll call you back. This is in Alabama.

    2. 3521 calls..getting up at 6am and line busy. Finally reached someone through the chat! I hope they fix this system….folks are getting restless.

    1. You are sooo right!!! It’s similar to auto insurance you pay into but soon as you have a accident, the insurance company looks for every way possible to not settle your claim.

    1. Michelle Burkholder 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂ur funny, betting on a rock would be more helpful bud

  1. It’s really hard to apply unemployment.I got layed off and up to this time I haven’t got any Penney.

    1. I called and used the employer option and the lady processed mine so I can get my issue resolved… took forever. Option 3-2-1-0 and I did not wait for them to talk. Dialed a few times before it went through

  2. Another problem is our _ignorance…_ I mean, most of us that are filling for unemployment have never done it before, we’ve always worked; so this is new to us, & we’re not quite sure what we’re doing. So mistakes are happening…

    1. Your right. I was one of them who doesn’t know what to do.I tried to be honest but I it became a mistake.

  3. I called and used the employer option and the lady processed mine so I can get my issue resolved… took forever

  4. *It’s always been this hard.* They do it that way on purpose. I tried to file ONCE when I was 22, they told me how long it was going to be and how much I was getting and laughed. NEVER AGAIN! F the Gov.

  5. Why is it hard to file? Because they don’t want you to have the money, duh. Even though you paid into

  6. Yeah I live in Ohio and filed over 5 weeks ago and haven’t gotten a penny yet. Cannot get with anybody on the phone and there is no email to contact so I’m literally not getting any money and my bills are starting to stack up. They need to be responsible for any negative credit incurred for people who simply aren’t getting any benefits

  7. I had a fare hearing in NYC and it was completely one sided never let me explain my side of the story and allowed alphapointe the chance to get away with not paying me unemployment I filed a complaint with HR showing and proving bullying along with harrassment constant verbal abuse then lied on because I’m an disabled employee followed by being vilified by two sighted supervisors I never got a chance to prove anything because of a corrupt system that benefits the employer

  8. I got my 1st self employment pua payment in Missouri last week. 133 plus 600. I filed for 2nd week today…..so about 1 month from the law passing
