I just got Moderna so I love good news about moderna LOL
I had two friends that had a bad reaction with Pfizer in moderna.
This trial stuff hasn’t ended.

You won’t get a blood clot. That’s great news, right? What you will get is a complex activation and deactivation of Immuno-antibodies. What does that mean? Glad you asked. It means that the MRNA was specifically designed to fight against one strain of the virus (yes, you heard right,… One strain). When one of the many thousands of mutating strains you encounter, your body will not know what to do with it. In layman’s terms? You’re screwed. Good luck.

@Alex Weiss The vaccines have shown strong effects protective against all the strains, admittedly less against some of the newer strains. Within 5 or 6 months Moderna will have a booster for those and other strains.
@William Jackson Oh I forgot to mention. Scientific studies are showing that the Moderna “vaccine” also suppresses cancer-fighting cells, so… Another reason to be wary of it.
Was looking forward to maybe getting the JnJ vaccine as it’s only one dose, but glad we have the other two available
They can’t get baby powder right soni knew I wasn’t getting JnJ but was torn between Moderna and the other. I will try to get Moderna now.

But they should be trying to make theirs one dose also. I don’t understand at all why they have not done that since it is plain that some wanted J&J shot because of it being one dose and will not get the two dose vaccines. This adds to distrust of others when a company in effect seems to act as if they don’t care and have a “take ours or do without” attitude.

These are experimental injections. As with any clinical trial, no one knows the outcome results, but time.

Depends on the health conditions of everyone. J & J might be okay for you but for others it may not be okay. So need to assessed your overall health condition to your doctor or specialist.
You’re more likely to die taking aspirin for a head ache than dying form the J&J vaccine.
I doubt your clinical training is up to the task? Just take whatever they offer you, and be grateful. Many sacrifices have been made to get you vaccinated. Now’s not the time to get all picky in that under qualified way people do 🙄
Yeah I’m actually a survivor of the rare stroke suffered by the 6 J&J. I had this rare blood clot all the way back in 2014. So I definitely will not ever get J&J vaccine. I remember when I found out how rare this cvst clot was. They said 5 in a million are the chances. Again this was way back in 2014. So as this person said depends on your specific health conditions. Blood clots and low blood counts are never okay from a vaccine. That is cause for either finding a way to stop such a side effect or discontinuing the vaccine and starting over finding a better one.

I think it’s a very good idea to pause J&J. It’s only natural for them to want to find out why the blood clots have happened. 1 in a million is still 1 and every life is meaningful..
If you participated in any of the covid-19 vaccines oh, you may be entitled to compensation. Just kidding you all sign consent forms but all of them. My friend’s daughter had her face droop for 48 hours with moderna. I told her mom you can’t get it out of you so go to the doctor and find out what damage it did. Bell’s palsy? Still looking into it,.
So why wasn’t Moderna or Pfizer paused since some have reported blood clots after getting them? It seems rather strange to me that these two companies are being so heavily used and others companies are being stopped. I sense something about money and/or politics happening here.

Pause? No. In the end, there will be massive lawsuits and casualties. This is going to trickle down to other vaccines as well. Moderna and Pfizer are also experimental and have not been tested on humans prior to commercial use. The fact that life insurance policies will not cover your expenses if you should die from these vaccines should be a huge red flag. What more do we need to see before coming to the rational decision not to take them?!

the booster, if necessary, would help with protecting against variants. the current vaccine does a decent job but variants pose a real issue especially if they continue to mutate. hate to say it but covid is probably here to stay and will continue to be an issue on some level. that’s what happens when a virus spreads and mutates across the entire world.

I just question effectiveness. And the fact is many got blood clots is bad. Hank Aaron and others who were elderly got the vaxx then died?!!! The timing is uncanny. I’ve gotten flu vaxx and still gotten flu.

I hate the idea I gotta keep pumping chemicals in my body that may cause clots and might not even stop me from getting sick.
They need to provide data on whether vaccinated people can transmit the disease. I don’t know if they have enough data on this but some more clear messaging on this from the medical professionals is necessary.
I also don’t understand why they are innoculating children without any long term studies on either the disease and the existing vaccines. This seems to be a huge irresponsibility. Whatever choices we make out of fear now can have significant impact on their well-being as they get older.
So far masks and social distancing seems to be effective and they can probably find ways to open up the rest of the economy to a smaller degree if CDC can provide guidance from the findings of studies that have been made on these topics

M M It has been clearly stated in many news articles and on the CDC website that you can still infect others even after getting fully vaccinated as no vaccine has been proven 100% effective. You still need to wear a mask, do social distancing. The economy being opened up in any way that allows people to gather is what has and will keep people getting infected. All such businesses should stay closed.

Unlike many people, Fauci realizes that with new research, recommendations will be forthcoming. Failure to realize, grow, and not learn is stupid, and Fauci is not. The more that is learned the better. As our knowledge about this virus progresses, change in recommendations is inevitable. For example, the booster shots may include protections against mutations. Refusal to acknowledge the changes is very Trumpian in that his recommendations are fixed and have resulted in the spread of the virus. Trump lives in an alternate reality where he cannot be wrong. Let him stay there and join those of us who are intelligent enough to realize, recognize, and adapt to change, for change is the only constant!
