  1. Testing is key. How do we distribute tests quickly and properly?

  2. JasonTheWorldisYours | March 26, 2020 at 4:35 AM | Reply

We need more testing in San Francisco

  3. Meanwhile in the U.S., we insist that Mardi Gras and spring break is more important than the well being of an entire nation…

    • söder bröder Lying makes it worse? Didn’t know lying makes a virus spread faster… Well maybe you could impeach him? O wait…..

    • @Joel N Please show me where he didn’t say the phrase “it’s their new hoax.”
Please do. Please. Show me. Show me where.
Oh, you think somehow that I’m using it like the ‘media’. I’m not. I’m using his EXACT words, infact, the EXACT sentence. So please show me where he didn’t say that. Show me where those words didn’t leave his lips straight into a microphone.
Because you know, what he actually did, or said in this case. Because he DID say that and there is no escaping it.
And about the Pandemic Response Team:
“”Fired” may be a strong word, but there have been abrupt changes to key national security posts with responsibility for global pandemics. More recently the administration has assigned new officials to take leadership roles.”
“After Ziemer’s departure, the global health team was reorganized as part of an effort by then-National Security Adviser John Bolton. Meanwhile, Tom Bossert, a homeland security adviser who recommended strong defenses against disease and biological warfare, was reportedly pushed out by Bolton in 2018. Neither White House official or their teams, which were responsible for coordinating the U.S. response to pandemic outbreaks across agencies, have been replaced during the past two years.”
“The fact that they explicitly dismantled the office in the White House that was tasked with preparing for exactly this kind of a risk is hugely concerning,” Jeremy Konyndyk, who ran foreign disaster assistance in the Obama administration, told the Guardian. “Both the structure and all the institutional memory is gone now.”

      https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2020/feb/28/michael-bloomberg/did-donald-trump-fire-pandemic-officials-defund-cd/

False? Definitely not. Misuse of the word ‘fired’? Perhaps, but then again nothing was explained from within the white house.
So Trump did indeed dismantle it, which you said he didn’t. You said he didn’t fire them, there are other ways to fire/not fire someone and there is no definitive proof he didn’t have them removed, because they WERE removed.
Sooo… About that thing he actually did.
      He did.
But hey, continue to hate on an actual president, and keep trying to defend a pretend one. So about that fake news, maybe you shouldn’t be so quick to label something fake news.
So, I’ll go back to saying he said, “it’s their new hoax”, and I’ll continue to state that Trump fired, wait, had the pandemic response team removed and not replaced for unexplained reasons.
Because they’re correct statements. Good day.

    • @Starman Dx I just sent you a link that shows you. Here’s another link. He was saying that his handling of the virus is the fake news new hoax. Here’s another link showing g article after article of fake news with proof it’s fake news. https://youtu.be/fexcyfYn1a0

I’ve debunked every fake accusation you have made.

    • @Joel N Wow, first you think I’m making somekind of claim about Trump and his quote “it’s their new hoax”, and second, you’ve claimed you’ve debunked every accusation I’ve made? Hilarious!
First off, you assumed I’m making somekind of claim when I say “it’s their new hoax”. I never said anything else but that quote, and here you are all triggered and bothered by it that you ASSUMED I did.
You fell for it, hook, line, and sinker. Good little Trumpbot, don’t think, defend dear leader from bad speak.
Now then, I just sent off my last comment debunking what you said about Trump’s removal of the Pandemic Response Team.
He did dismantle it, he did have it removed, as sited by Politifacts.
Given the quickness of your reply, you didn’t bother to actually read it, and here you are declaring you debunked every accusation I’ve made.

You haven’t. Just like Trump, you say you did something when you haven’t actually.

How about you try debunking what I actually said, instead of listening to the fake news in your head.

    • @Starman DxYou insinuated that he was calling the virus a hoax.

No he didn’t cut the CDC funding and task force. It’s fake news. He did want to make cuts to big government and the CDC was a part of that but Republican and Democrat congressmen stopped him. It’s called checks and balances. That’s what government is for. Fake news. CDC funding has actually increased thanks to congress.

This is the kind of health system that Bernie has been advocating for and that CNN has always tried to debunk. The media no longer inform the people but just manipulate them so as to keep them as slaves for the top 1%.

  6. 160,000 testings per week. That is a really amazing leadership. Where are the banana Republics?…oohh wait!!!

    • gastarbeiter1 “bring higher education to everyone who is smart enough” is either horseshit or Germans are dumber than other OECD countries. They’re certainly less well educated on average

Germany as well as other countries take their obligations to the public seriously, whereas here in the U.S., government officials look for the quickest buck$ !!!

Is it in America known that the Trump Administration tried to buy the “exclusive right” of a possible COVID-19 vaccination from a German company? Whoever is still thinking Trump is the right man for the presidency, GFY.

Hey we are here from CANADA. Long before the Social Distancing lesson, the German people distanced themselves from each other. It is normal for them. There is no panic, everything is calm and going as it normally does. The shops are closed but the fear factor is slowly notching up very slowly…..but otherwise, all is good for now……

@Earth *Coronavirus Panic Partly Driven by Anti-Trump Hysteria*

    • @fred head He did, they were fired by next in line. Pity

    • JoshTyrReece | March 26, 2020 at 1:45 PM | Reply

@Eduardo Vazquez keine Frage.
Es gibt gute Gründe warum man mittlerweile selbst ausgemustert Beatmungsgeräte wieder in Stand setzen will. Denn was da noch vor uns liegt wird ein steiniger Weg…gebe dir aber natürlich Recht das man bessere Chancen in Dland hat als in UK o.ä.

Wünsche ich dir auch. Komm gut durch diese Scheiße :).

Sorry. That’s my last comment on German, it’s simply easier for me. Just a rough translation.: It was just how many beds for covid patients my whole “district” (don’t now the real translation) had – 40 beds – and that they already almost full while being still at the beginning of the problem that is to come. And that not every hospital here in Germany is in best shape. But sure, I also prefer to be here in Germany then for example the UK because I think the Chances to get through it are overall better.

    • @fred head we have medicine, vaccines. We have USAMRIID.

  14. That’s it! I’m moving to Germany.

  15. Germany did something right!
Also, Merkel deserves some credit as well !
Go Germany. … show the world how it’s done!

    • William Vagabond | March 26, 2020 at 8:23 AM | Reply

Any good work that is happening here is not because of the Merkel regime but in spite of it. Merkel was in hiding for nearly 2 months. Oh and the isolation orders? They are not enforced for glorious members of the foreign invasion. Police here is afraid to do their job lest they be accused of “racism”.

    • @William Vagabond Once more. You are just making things up. And Merkel and her government were active during those 2 months. You are mixing up “a lot of talk” what most right wing populists do with “a lot of action” which the german government has taken.
