The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences says they began "disciplinary proceedings" against Will Smith after the Oscars incident.

The Academy said in a statement Wednesday that its Board of Governors has begun the process of disciplining Smith for "inappropriate physical contact, abusive or threatening behavior and compromising the integrity of the Academy." Smith went on to win the Oscar for best actor for his role in "King Richard," giving a tearful speech on stage.

The sense of entitlement and the delusion that he didn’t do anything wrong or more important illegal is disgusting. And shame on The Academy and ABC for not having the Police move him was spineless.
Our family felt terrible for Chris Rock and his family the way he was allowed to be treated and then to not hold Will Smith accountable.
Will Smith and his wife are absolutely not sorry for what he did to Chris Rock. Will Smith refusing to leave the Oscars when reportedly asked too and then to party it up at the Vanity Fair party is proof of this. Shame on Vanity Fair also for allowing him to attend their party.

That’s bs. Why wasn’t he made to leave? Will Smith does not own the academy. If that happened at a concert that person would be escorted out by security. Don’t be bias because of who he is. He’s just another human being and he should be treated like anybody else.
