  1. 1:20 The only reason that was said was to get a trauma shot of that man’s face. CNN, you’re wrong asf for that.

    1. @Jimmy Pete CNN gave a hero a chance to express his feelings. I don’t know what you’re talking about.

    2. @James Guy Photography True, but his comment at that time stamp definitely wasn’t necessary.

  2. Whoever’s reading this, i pray that whatever your going through gets better and whatever your struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day! Amen ❤️

  3. I may not be a big fan of capital punishment, but I agree with the worker. If a place has it, then what better person to use it on?

    1. @Kyle Ayres Yeah, but where has he been all this time, and what is eventually going to happen to him?

What I mean was, these kinds of incidents shouldn’t be happening and could be deterred or even “stopped” through preventative measures. Mental health screening, red flag gun regulation, and better education could have prevented the gunman from even turning into the monster he’s become now. While I don’t pity him or his choices, you gotta admit this whole event could have been avoided.

    1. They are! 🙁 I calmly told one the specific intersection where a vehicle was in trouble; she said those streets do not intersect. Um, I live there; I’m here and they do. 🤷🏻‍♀️ She said “No they don’t.” No assistance ever arrived.

  4. What’s even more disturbing is that the cops didn’t hesitate to kill the shooter yet, he walked out very nonchalant and was treated fairly. Had it been racially different; guaranteed the police wouldn’t have hesitated to shoot.

  5. Jerome is a protector and a hero. This is heartbreaking and shocking to know the shooter had scoped out the store months prior – innocent shoppers that he scoped out to kill just because of their race. It was a matter and of life and death and Jerome chose to protect those people regardless of his fate. You can tell he is traumatized my heart breaks for him 💔🙏

  6. Jerome, I am praying for you and everyone involved with this awful terrorist attack. Everyone deserves to be safe. I showed my sons your picture and told them about how you kept people safe. I told my sons that you are a hero and that they need to remember that heroes come in all shapes, colors, and sizes but all heroes make the world and people around them better.

Thank you for making the choices you did. God bless you with peace and healing and may He do the same for everyone who has been touched by this darkness. 😢

  7. this was a respectful useful interview that gave us insight into moments of the victim’s life at that time and allowed him to talk instead of asking stupid questions like how do you feel. bless Mr Bridges for his quick thinking and willingness to sacrifice. I know he’s a better person than I am for that.

  8. R.I.P. to the victims and condolences to their entire families. It’s so disgusting that this has become so common today.

3:42 I also would Sir, well said!
    Jerome you are a hero!👍🙌

  9. Sometimes disaster does create Heroes a generous spirit with no fear that is willing to face danger no matter the consequences or odds🤔

  10. The Police knew he was unstable and had made threats to kill but he was not detained or assessed which says a lot about mental health services in the USA.
