As she is giving her evidence, trump is tweeting against her. Is this is what we expect from a President. He is intimidating witness and I do think witness intimidation is an impeachable offense as well as a chargeable offence when he leaves. It will still be in the statute of limitations even if he gets another 4 years as will many of his other offenses. The ones that he is committing now can be charged when he leaves.
The President enjoys a 1st amendment right to state his opinion and defend himself. It’s not witness intimidation unless his intent was to limit her testimony. He doesn’t care to limit what she says, he’s just responding. She also wouldn’t have heard it during testimony if Schiff didn’t bring it up.
Impeach him immediately! Our forefathers did not think our politicians would be so dumb to ever vote someone as loathing as Trump is into our U.S. White House.

David R. Davidson : For starters, Don Cherry is Canadian, not American. That right there explains some of the difference in treatment, simply because America and Canada have much in common, but also have some key differences in how they respond to things as a community. Secondly, Don Cherry has never served in an official capacity for his government as this ambassador has. Thirdly, he has not been called to testify against a government official who did not want him to do so. Fourth, what he said was not patriotic; it was nationalism veiled in patriotism. If it was about showing respect for veterans, as he claimed, he would have addressed all people who chose not to wear poppies, not just immigrants. Fifth, Don Cherry has a long history of making disparaging remarks about “pinkos”, liberals in general, and people who believe climate change is a real thing. This most recent statement was not a one-off, but the straw that broke the camel’s back.
So proud of this lady . True patriot !

I’ve been watching coverage on C-SPAN today and I am appalled at the pathetic Republican attempts to question the motives of these public servants who are giving evidence. I am not American, I am British, so have no historic preference for either red or blue. But anyone with a brain can see what the Republicans are doing is absurd. How dare they question the intelligence of people by suggesting Trump hasn’t committed a crime of the highest order. How dare they question the use of the words “bribery” and “blackmail.” They need to look at what’s been going on then learn the Queens English.
I’m also appalled at the American public on the phone – in segment on C-SPAN from such states as Kentucky and Tennessee who think this impeachment process is an anti-American joke. They, like the Republican party, are a disgrace to America. Ironically these are the people who think they are the epitome of American freedom. NO THEY AREN’T.
