Ukrainian forces retook Irpin, northwest of Kyiv, from Russian troops, who were regrouping to take the area back, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said late Monday as he sought to rally the country.

“We still have to fight, we have to endure,” Zelenskyy said in his nighttime video address to the nation. “We can’t express our emotions now. We can’t raise expectations, simply so that we don’t burn out.”

  1. It’s becouse ukrainian troops explode the Irpen river’s dam in Dnipr’s Kiewan reservoir in last week. So it’s just flood’s effect and tactical retreat form Irpen town by Russia’s army couse water come to shores

  2. To further save lives and destruction it is best to probably split Ukraine and to two different sections like north and South Korea. If not this war will continue to go on and on slowly and more lives will be devastated. The infrastructure has been damaged for good and it will take at least 30 years to repair everything. Just make a deal and cut your losses and live on. It might not be the best deal in the world but at this time at least you know you will have peace for a while. And then United States will help you reinsure that.

    1. NO NO NO. The territorial integrity of Ukraine cannot be compromised, and certainly nothing can change without the permission of the Ukrainian people. It’s not up to you, or Putin.

  3. Hell yeah. If there’s one thing I’ve learned during these past few weeks, it that Ukrainian soldiers have balls of steel. Keep kicking asses until peace talks actually accomplish something.
