  1. More than 400 thousand Americans from our greatest generation, fought and died to defeat fascism in WW2. They were the original anti-facists. And now tyranny and fascism are on the march here America.
I’m actually glad that they aren’t around today to see what Trump is doing to the country that they served, and paid the ultimate sacrifice for.

This election is a choice between Trump and tyranny, or America.
    MAKE A DECISION…

    1. If my WWII veteran grandfathers were still around, one was a mechanic and the other infantry, I imagine they’d be voting for Trump.

      Just my two cents…

    2. David J Well, be advised, America was allowing SS Nazis into America right after WWII. ☹️

  2. The fight for equality will continue. It is up to us to say how fast or how slow.
If you’re not on board with that, you’re going to get left behind.
Rest in Power, Rep Lewis. 🙌🙏

  3. Speaking of legacies. What do you think Donald tRumps final legacy on his tombstone will state. “Here ye, here ye, here lays Donald J tRump a man who” ………. you fill in the rest!

  4. Today’s democrats hardy compare with John Lewis of 55 years ago. Not even he held a candle to his former righteousness once politics seduced him

    1. he has coasted for a long time in the CBC hospice. While pelosi sports cloth from Ghana along with her ice cream.

    2. @John Hillman “…pelosi sports cloth from Ghana…”

She wore the Kente cloth because the Black Caucus provided her with it, and told her she should wear it.
      Pesky facts, huh?

  5. May we all inherit his eternal hopefulness which we will continue through voting and speaking up and speaking out.

  6. I cried when they drove over the bridge of Rose peddles,. The loss of a Hero! From Canada!

  7. There Are almost Even amount of haters and rasists in US AS There Are people of Lewis’ charachter. That says The most of your country. From a European standpoing The GOP represents hate and lies. The Democratic party The love and The thruth

  8. If Lewis had Come to My country, The ground would have been filled with roses. If McConnel came, he would have been met with no one. Not Even a CAR to his desposel- uber

  9. Trump is such a little man. Hope he knows few will honor him when he passes. This shows he has No character.

  10. “We are only beginning to understand the grief we are feeling” Yup.
We are only beginning to understand how important a man John Lewis was… well, at least some of us. Think about all those Jim Crow southerners that still might be alive who are witnessing the level of honor being bestowed on Lewis. Who do they honor in this way? heroes of the confederacy? Huey Long, Gerorge Wallace?

  11. It is unreal for this European to realize that John Lewis and the racist criminal in the oval office and the lowlives that conspire with him stem from the same country, or even the same planet. Courage, Love, Compassion, Dignity and Intelligence versus pure greed, contempt for any other human being and for life, utter hypocrisy and a complete lack of any form of knowledge and civilization. America, eliminate the monsters come october, drain the swamp, and regain your dignity.
