CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta receives the Covid-19 vaccine

CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice just got the first dose of their Covid-19 vaccine at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Moments before, both doctors admitted they have an aversion to needles, but both said they hardly felt it.

  1. If they want more black and brown people to feel confident taking the vaccine; maybe they should stop vaccinating black and brown people first on national tv. The optics are eerily reminiscent of historical events when black and brown bodies were used for testing. It’s not a good look and it’s not creating confidence.
