  1. The problem with extremism is that it needs to constantly be ratcheted up to maintain its charge. Sadly, extremism in the USA at this time has left mere craziness in the rear-view mirror and is in a full-on psychotic break…

    1. @Triste Mietitore There are a wise word regarding to election that says “you can look at a senator/congressman personality by look at the behaviour of his/her constituents”. So, if the constituents is somewhat like a bunch of people who already sold their brain to zombies, then you can conclude that he/she’s plainly same like his/her constituent.

    1. Agree however if you would take a critical look at the other side of the aisle you will see the same thing, people with extremely left views. HEY we just look at the other side our side is fine 😭

  2. Very good. Let’s call a kook a kook. Enough is enough. We need to push back aggressively against these wing nuts.

    1. Yes but that should happen on both sides , however all over the world populist and extremist are terrorizing mainstream parties.

    2. WE need to keep this out there and WE need to hold them accountable by legal, respectful means-write, email, call, knock, pray, etc, etc-

    1. Sadly your average American is ignorant of their own history and the part the red scare played in shaping the lives they live today.

    2. I agree. In my country the liberals are on the right of centre. I’d never vote for Biden. He’d be too right wing. Even Bernie would be a centrist. Maybe a bit left of centre but not much.

    3. @Human Person The irony that they screamed about communists whilst still supporting Trump who deferred to the former KGB lader of Russia over the US’s own intelligence community is completely lost on them.

  3. One of the best shows on TV was Jesse Ventura’s Conspiracy theories. Investigating and debunking conspiracy lies. Bring it back!

    1. I Was listening to some podcast and they were talking about this one white supremacist group who would watch Jesse Ventura’s show as if it were instructional. I think it’s better if we just don’t talk about these things

  4. The GOP will look exactly like it does now and has looked 4 years. They won’t change they won’t try to make things easier for the people of this country

  5. The Republican party could fix their existential crisis today, by just doing the right thing. Too bad they don’t know what that means.

  6. They’ve made that decision already so there’s no need to wait for an answer. They must be forcefully eliminated politically.

    1. The advantage of having a Democrat Senate majority is that McConnell can no longer hold a vote hostage.

There were Senators in the GOP before pushing for bipartisan bills that MM would not even call a vote on.

Whether those same Senators will weigh in favor of the new bill who knows, but they at least have the option now – and no excuse of McConnell to hide behind.

  7. He, DJT, was actively trying to get rid of Miller, the acting DOJ AG, in December so that he could put one of his loyal fixers in the office, to pressure Georgia to overturn their election results. He needs to be convicted in the Senate.

  8. “These extremists are threatening our party! We want democracy!”
    “Vote 3rd party.”
“We don’t want *THAT MUCH* democracy!”

  9. GOP should have squashed the kids and the voting conspiracies from day one instead of trying to jockey for better political positions in that system. This was a failure of GOP leadership.

  10. Steve, “vestigial” is pronounced vest-IDGE-ill, not VEST-e-gal.
It’s from the Latin, _vestigium_ meaning ‘footprint’.

  11. All Americans : Stay out of the GOP and their civil war. Allow them to canabalize themselves. Stay on the sidelines, enjoying the feeding frenzy.
