John O The problem is not with United States but the problem is with the main polluters such as India and China. When Trump pulled us out of that terrible Paris Accord, he unleashed private industry and local governments to Faciane their own environmental controls. Do USA has made great environmental progress while other countries have stumbled. France can’t even control air pollution in Paris!
We all remember what the German Chancellor told trump yes she pleaded with him not to pull out of this stupid Paris Accord, she said it was necessary for globalism.

@Patrick Patrick The whole scientific community agrees that climate change is real, this is backed up by actual changes in the environment but you think its a coincidence that humans are using up all the planets natural resources and the planet is heating up.
aidan mcdonald yes, I’ve heard the buzzline “the whole scientific community agrees”. Does this include AOCs doomsday clock, which is now at 10 years? Does this include Al Gore and how his wealth has SOARED while pimping climate change? Listen, its obvious that we are having an impact on this planet. But what we are proposing is, at this point, impossible. The technology isn’t here yet. And from what I can tell, climate change is more about 💰, and less about 🌍

Texas has used up their extra benefits and that $300 a week unemployment supplement that was “borrowed” from FEMA disaster relief funds, is Gone, in just under 2 weeks. Kaput 👋
That means many in the red state of Texas are on unemployment.
The West Coast is on fire and Lake Charles is without power.
I’d truly hoped a hurricane wouldn’t hit any coastal region, because millions will need more than paper towels.
Harvey developed into a devastating storm that flooded Houston in a mere 40 Hours! 🌪⛈🌪⛈🌪⛈
Evacuating was difficult and returning home was heartbreaking. I have relatives that were wiped out and others that have relocated to Dallas. Too much concrete and not enough drainage, coupled with way more rain, that just hovered there.
That’s why FEMA funds matter!

Trump lost Casinos and Resorts! He had his name on one in Puerto Rico you don’t hear about, that he only claimed to own, but he lost management of that when he was busted for accounting practices and in yet another bankruptcy.
He bailed on Puerto Rico twice but the deep orange state hides things like that, and grades and tax returns, and the real reason he’s petty and vindictive in regards to our island. 🇵🇷

I prefer a President that doesn’t gamble with human lives, futures and the well being of Americans, for a good stock market and ultimately himself. Reelection results will reflect how the majority feels on these matters, but if there had been leadership that cared about every demographic, and he cared about his base as much as being reelected, we probably could be living normal as possible lives, and kids would be back in school.
This isn’t media hype this is a guy that’s created an alternate reality and people are believing alternative facts which are not, by definition, facts! 🤪
It’s maddening but knowing 80% are troll farm workers helps me remember there’s only a shrinking base and there’s no way for Trump to be anything but defensive because everyone can see everything unfolding with their own eyes, and not everyone is as stupid as he thinks?!

Make a plan and be ready if you live in a coastal region, and consider buying a vehicle you can live in because hotels are always full. Buy gas, gallons of water, formula, refill prescriptions and gather important documents and put them in gallon size freezer bags. Digitize documents if it’s not too late, and be more prepared because America is changing under this administration. Fruit cups, pudding and compact items that don’t require refrigeration like granola bars, crackers etc. Battery backups with solar panels and car charging cords are important things to pack. There are hurricane lantern type led products that have all of those features. I have 4 myself and even though they have built in rechargeable batteries they also take AAs too.
In 2005 the last hurricane of the year was in December, but Zeke extended into January of 2006.
If you’re denying the fact that you’ve been lied to and you don’t believe the pandemic and the death count etc, is real, you’re beyond anyone’s reach without an intervention by relatives that can sign the necessary documents and that is tragic, but I worked all over the country and I realize the world is like a box of chocolates, and some have nuts.
