  1. The deputy was saved due to fact he shows respect to every single inmate. Words from their own mouths.

    1. Ron Smith so if you ever got a ticket for speeding or littered trash, you deserve to be beat, treated harshly, etc because you violated the law.
      That kind of thinking is barbaric and hasn’t helped stop crime. It’s bad enough that people convicted have a hard time getting back to work and living an honest life, meaning they’ll commit crimes again. Hell, some officers have said “we’ll see you here again” to former inmates.
      Prison should be about re-education, getting people to return to society as an honest person. And if they have committed a serious crime like murder, repentance and working toward redemption for the rest of their life. Too dangerous? Put them down so our society is safer.

      But of course that won’t happen because prison is a business and people like to milk taxpayer money.

    2. Wunn Sen people end up in jail for far less crimes too. You don’t know them or what they went through to get there. That “murderer” could have been someone who felt the law failed him when their family member was killed or someone abused their child and he took the law into his own hands.”
      Even then, if they were bad people, our Constitution requires us to treat every prisoner humanely.

    3. Wunn Sen humans have sinned before and according to God, we all deserve death for our sins.
      We don’t deserve to play God over other people’s’ lives.

    4. Justcallmexbhsx because time and time again there’s corruption. Do you think people should ignore the evil in our law enforcement because of the one or two “good cops” that you know personally?

    5. MoonSong “you have no idea what these men are in prison for”
      News flash: neither do you, nor how they got there. But bottom line is they’re doing their time. That’s all the punishment they need. They don’t need to be abused or mistreated for your self-righteous amusement because what if you end up there?

    1. @Mike Airborne lol you mean the story about Putin putting bounties on nato… that had zero evidence? Lol it came from an integrated prisoner. That provided no evidence, didn’t say how they got their bounties or even how they got there cash after “finishing one”. We don’t even know the name of the so called prisoner. Also the DNI debunked it, mutple sources even said that the president never had a meeting about it. Stop drinking the damn koolaid , open your eyes.

    2. Jack Holiday Remember perception, through evolution we’re conditioned to remember the dangerous situations. Vile officers in prison or the police will stick out in your mind, giving them a disproportionate visibility. Also, officers back each other up, which means that the good ones are often complicit when a bad officer is in the group, making the whole group bad to inmates/civilians.

    1. No wonder all of these three inmates were white…haha🥰😂

      If they were Mexicans or africans, it would have been a different story…

    1. Dave Chappelle I know you’re just a shitty edgy person (you’ll probably grow out of it, you’re either actually 12 or mentally 12), but realize that laws don’t in any way define morality. Real moral grey areas are caught up in laws, and the US prison system is especially known for mass incarceration, so plenty of people are in there that ought not to be.

    1. It’s because they’re not washed by media anymore. The only thing they can do is thinking about their life choices.

    2. I don’t know where you live but in every place I’ve been people will instantly help you when you are injured or have an accident. These prisoners ofcourse will get a couple years off their sentence for doing this. Bet you didn’t even think of that.

    3. @Wouter R these guys are in county jail. They are most likely serving minimal time- 3 months to 2 years for petty crimes. If they happen to be awaiting trial for sentencing of a serious crime or transfer to state prison to serve a longer sentence, they still wouldnt get any years off their sentence.

      Inmates can’t be rewarded for saving a guard because some would be tempted to create the situation in which the guard needs saving.

      Best case scenario is that their good deed is mentioned when their parole hearing comes. Meaning They could be released slightly early.

  2. The deputy looks like he’s treating the inmates as humans, not some trash, i respect that. And I respect those who treat everyone the same

    1. @Twisted Pixel It’s because prisons are privatized and need to have a minimum occupancy to still get paychecks from the government. It sucks but hey, that’s capitalism for you.

    2. @Aaviskar Parasor Only 8.4 percent of prisons in the U.S. are privately owned. Not 84. 8.4 . Like under ten percent. All the rest are government owned and operated. And they’re still all over capacity. Can you imagine what it would be like if all of them were privately owned?

    1. @T.A. Peace because the using their changes the whole meaning of the sentence. Right now the whole comment doesn’t really make any sense.

  3. “Bad experiences make good people do bad things.”
    Most of the time people who commited crimes had a reason and/or something made them do it.
    Goodjob.

    1. My dead beat dad is in jail for raping me and had little time for that good fake behavior got out early so i dont buy it

    2. @Trisha Eustache OP just said “Most of the time” so he/she is not saying that all crimes are committed out of bad experiences/decision.

  4. “I don’t believe in bad people, I believe in bad decisions”
    -Larry Lawton
    I’ve never gotten this many likes im famous lol

    1. David Freeman They all had bad intentions. Thank you for making my point.
      ~~~~~~~
      What I’m saying is, as opposed to “stealing because your family is poor.” See?
      Stealing is wrong, but your intentions were to help your family eat, etc….
    2. Guys stop going at this guy it’s not even his quote so stop guys what he’s saying is true nobody’s bad people just chose to be bad or make bad decisions
