  1. Now, when no Republican votes for the infrastructure package, then Americans should remember that. At least modify the filibuster, too!

    1. @Jason Thompson and in the meantime all the Republican trumpers can contact their Banks and instruct them to return their stimulus money to whence it came. 🤗🤣😂🤣
      Hypocritical twonks

    1. @My Tale Smaller countries the rail costs less. Then you have states getting into the mix, wanting the rail to certain areas…California’s high speed rail was just a bit too much to spend, and covid didn’t help.

  2. all of the things that have been ignored for decades and have been disasters in the making unless this is done, plus will create desperately needed good jobs for Americans. so yes,, the gqp will fight against it tooth and nail.

    1. Nothing will happen until recharging millions of electric cars causes the rolling blackouts putting us all in the dark.

  3. This is such a good news…You just have to drive on US highways to realize this country is moving backward, not forward.

    1. Biden is a Commie who is trying to bankrupt America fresh from passing his $1.9 trillion Covid 19 relief package … his next spending plan is for a $3 trillion infrastructure package as a first stage program to rebuilding American roads, rail, bridges etc and with America running a $1.2 trillion budget deficit annually and apparently him and his party want to end or redraw the filibuster system in the senate so that he can push through is pro communist agenda yet the liberal and pro commie media that dominates America claim Trump was the biggest threat to America and it’s democracy …. future generations of America will have to pay for this mess that is the Union of Socialist States of America by the end of his 4 year term don’t be surprised if there debt stands at 200% of it’s GDP and the next blow to the American economy will be inflation

    2. @Alba1970 Boohoo to you and stop with the bias BS. It’s time this country looks out for the average citizen and not the 1%. Go Joe a real President of the people

  4. Pricey, sure, but infrastructure spending is its own type of “stimulus,” in a sense. The money goes straight into local economies.

    1. Comma, Maybe instead of bailing out failed blue states in the coronavirus Bill they could have used that money for infrastructure! Dementia Joe Fingers is spending his 4 year budget in 4 months! DERP!

  5. It’s about time! So many bridges and roads are past their expiration date and need to be rebuilt or repaired, not to mention the green energy technology that will need to be built from the ground up.

    1. Jason Soytits, Maybe instead of bailing out failed blue states they could have used that money for infrastructure! Dementia Joe let’s open the border and spend the next 10 year budget for the USA in 3 months! DERP!

    2. @Bewnie Sandals stop corrupting your brain with the right wing talking points and step out of the GOP talking chamber. These things WILL happen whether you’re on board or not. Fearing the border while in conversation about infrastructure is a direct result of low IQ susceptibility to disinformation. Either be part of the solution or get out of the way.

    3. @Bewnie Sandals Don’t forget, we were already supposed to have an infrastructure bill as Spanky Bonespurs promised a bill since day one. “Infrastructure will be easy” 👐👌🤲👐 (jazz hands). Just like Repealing and replacing Obamacare. Just like locking her up. Just like Mexico paying for the wall. Just like drain the swamp with members of his cabinet consisting of Goldman Sachs and Exxon. Promises Made Promises Not Kept”.

  6. Its necessary because the US is not only politically a banana republic, the infrastructure is as well in many places that of a third world country.
Get to it and go big.

  7. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    1. Jesus said to give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God. He also said you can’t serve two masters. You’ll love the one and hate the other, or you’ll cling to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. The roads and bridges department belongs to Caesar/mammon. Search, therefore, the part you’ve left unsearched. Search your heart, and search the scriptures. Jesus is in fact the Christ and rose again from the dead, having paid for our sins on the cross. Each of us must be born again. The problem with the world today is in the hearts of the individuals. Too many people serving mammon, and not enough people who’s hearts are turned to God.

  8. 5G and charging stations? Why are we, the taxpayers, paying for corporate infrastructure when they pay almost no taxes who then charge us, the taxpayer, to use that same infrastructure?

    2. @Alba1970 Ok,(basically)in your suggestions are just going’s down the same roads.Just kicking 🦵 the can down the roads for not making any of those major improvements changes and those improvements for the whole infrastructures in this country, because those ideas in your stupidity in your mind thinking 🤔 is a communist ideology?Like every times the Republican politicians have the majorities of in the Congress members and or in the election seats of many Presidencies. What’s the Republican politicians ever do anythings that are really mattered and for befitting every walks of lives in this country? The Republican Party members just only implements in many more taxes cuts to the richest Americans people and for those many majors corporations businesses only trying for trickling downwards economics policies again and agains. It never 👎 ever works in the long terms and in the long runs for every walks of lives of people in this country. The majors inflations of moneys and this country National Debts doesn’t going’s down either my fool harted(person)-male or female..

  9. Biden team and Democrats: we want to invest in the infrastructure.
Republicans: we want to give tax cuts to the wealthy.
How do you vote Republican unless your are a greedy bigot.

  10. And while we’re at it, let’s revamp our aging nuclear missal silos before we have an accident from which we can’t recover.

  11. It seems to me that investing in infrastructure is a great way to create jobs, especially since some projects can last a decade or longer.

  12. “Decrepit infrastructure” is right. The US is more like a third world country when it comes to infrastructure. Not comparable to most western European countries by any means.

    1. The reason we”re so far behind is the Luftwaffe or 8th Air Force bombers didn’t blow up the archaic power lines in WW2 forcing the 1%ers to start over in the USA. The same is true of American railroads plodding along at 45 mph, instead of 500 like France. Who do you think paid to restore French infrastructure after WW2?
