  1. OMG tearing moments of Joy.
This happen to me 8 years ago. My son served in the Navy and Paid me A Surprised visit.

    Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️

  2. I always watch these types of videos because in 1979 I did something that totally caught my mom off guard. The best day of my life! So my sister and brother-in-law and I hatched a plan. I didnt tell my mother anything. My sister and brother–in-law told mom they would visit her on this particular day, but didnt mention that they picked me up at LAX and drove me 100 miles out to Landers ,CA. where my mother lived alone. This is in the Mohave Desert north of Palm Springs. Sand, heat, dust, wind, cold, and crawling or slithering creatures. So I got dressed in my dress blues and walked up the dirt street, soft sand actually, about a mile from my house. My sis and brother in law waited down the road so far because its in the middle of nowhere, and you can hear a car coming for miles. So the back door was open and the screen door was unlocked. So I got lucky and just stealthily walked in and mom had her back to me and she was startled and I grabbed her by the shoulders and spun her around and snapped to attention and said “AIRMAN LEISENRING REPORTING AS ORDERED MA’AM!! She was in total shock for a few seconds. Then she hugged me so hard I thought she was going to bruise my ribs and lifted me off the ground! Not easy for a woman who had survived breast cancer by way of a radicaI mastectomy just about a year earlier and I was a few inches taller as well. She thought I was my brother who is 11 years my senior! Then she said the words that I always cry about when I think of that day.
She said “You left a boy, and returned a man!” This was my very first leave after basic training in the U.S. Air Force. Then she proceeded to embarrass me by calling her friends and saying come by and
see my son! He’s all grown up!
Its these things that are the real treasures in life. At sixty one years I STILL cry everytime I remember this. Its something nobody can buy, or sell, and it can never be taken away, lost or stolen. And I am glad for that day as my mother died just a few years later at age 58 and I was 25.
