  1. The word “Trump” should be inducted into our society’s list of curse and bad words. References like “Trump you, Brian” are now considered offensive.

    1. The twisted logic of a Trump supporter.
      1. He didn’t say or do that and if he did say or do it, he didn’t mean it.
      2. If he did mean, it you didn’t understand it.
      3. If you did understand it it,
      It’s not a big deal
      4. If it is a big deal, others have said and done far worse.

  2. I enjoyed hearing about Julia Reed, I’ve not read her work but definitely will start today because Jon Meecham made her sound irrepressible and really alive.

  3. I only knew of Julia Reed a little bit. Thanks John Meacham for this remembrance of a woman who I now know to be a great figure in modern journalism. Such a character full of funny, smart and biting wit and great style. RIP

  4. “SHE WAS A MASTER OF FRIENDSHIP.” THANK YOU, JON MEACHAM FOR THIS POTENT JULIA REED QUOTE. THANK YOU, MIKA AND JOE FOR THE BRIGHT DIALOGUE. THIS IS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO SEE AND HEAR AN HONORING OF A HUMAN BEING.

  5. I try to learn something new every day, learning about Ms Reed from Mr Meecham was both enlightening and entertaining, I look forward to exploring Ms Reed’s works.
