Stuart Stevens: Republicans Who Won’t Accept Biden Victory Are ‘Cowardly’ | The Last Word | MSNBC

  1. Donald Trump has destroyed the Republican Party. It is no longer a functioning political party capable of governing, but a deranged cult of personality.

    1. @TheBase1aransas The US Constitution is not based on “Christian Principles,” because most Christians have none. Our American democracy (which remains the envy of the world) is based on the League of the Iroquois. Our Native American Founding Fathers (a bigot like you would probably disparage them as “heathens”) invented democracy as we know it, and taught it to our European Founding Fathers. They wisely kept toxic Christianity out of gov’t.

    2. @Buff Straw I doubt you live in America because you are grossly uninformed. America is NOT a democracy like @MSNBC spouts, and I OBVIOUSLY have studied Native America more than you have. (And I never called you names)

    3. The republican party was rotten well before trump .. look at mitch mc connell and lady graham… a proper pair of Pr cks if ever there was.. just to name a few… even the few who seemed to maybe ? have a little manhood left … turned tail and ran.. Very disappointing.. A Shameful state of affairs !!

    4. Trump got more votes than any sitting president in history. Those low information voters who voted for Biden were mostly just voting against Trump because the media hated him so much. You all fell for every narrative they threw at you. You bought them all!

      You’re trying to comfort yourself.

    1. @Randy Couch You perfectly exemplify what it means to be a rabid minded cult member; that is, you have absolutely no cognitive connection to the fact that, you are a culturally “rabid minded cult member”.

    2. @Randy Couch You don’t want a President. You want a Fuhrer. A phony “strongman” to tell you what to do, what to think, and — most importantly — who to hate. I pity you.

    1. You don’t get to call your betters a “cult” for pointing out obvious irregularities and (now) blatant fraud, especially when you denied the last election for 4 years with ZERO evidence.

Sit down, shut up. You have no right to lecture anyone, let alone the adults.

    2. @JJoe You don’t get to call anybody the “betters” of anybody. NOBODY denied the last election.
Trump is OUR American President until January 20 and NOBODY is saying he isn’t and NOBODY has spent four years claiming he isn’t.
You and yours are better than NOBODY, and neither are me or mine.
WE are Americans and WE have ONE President at a time, on January 20 WE will have a new President.
      SHUT UP!!!

  2. I remember when the Senate thought of themselves as the President’s equal, and senators would stand up to a President of their own party when he was wrong.

    1. They are supposed to be equal branches of Government but separate. McConnel has tainted and warped the senate.

    1. Yep, it is easy to see too when you look back to the clips from 2015/2016 where Lindsay, Marco, Ted etc were all bad mouthing Donald. Though when Donald got elected, they all fell into line. The strongest complaint came from Susan Collins…. “I am very disappointed”…. give me a break. You would find more back bones in a slug.

    2. And I heard every creature in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever!”

    3. @A S This quote from Revelation 5:13, of course has nothing to do with Trump or his administration; – – – rather this verse records the ultimate adoration Jesus and God the Father will receive when the whole earth is restored to its original sin-free condition.
What was your point in commenting with this verse?
Was it just another attempt by a Trump acolyte to mislead?

  3. The fact of the matter is Trump lost, and no amount of wining will change that. GOOD RIDDANCE. Biden’s first order of business is to take out the trash.

  4. Sometimes you have to stand up to a bully and his friends, if you don’t they will push you around forever.put the country before your party.

  5. They took an oath to protect serve and defend our constitution!!! Not serve the delusions of 1 man who believes hes a king!!!!

  6. “If you take a position of leadership, show some.” Gabriel Sterling

The shame of the Republican Party is not just Donald Trump, it is also the GOP Senators.

  7. “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King

    1. And I heard every creature in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever!”

    1. And I heard every creature in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever!”

  8. “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

  9. American allowing a dictator to control how their every moment they breathe. Trump should never be forgiven for these atrocities. Trump should remind himself he’s not always going to be fit and able as life takes him into old age and pray that his final years he’s cared for by the hands that forgive him. Many of the elderly have not been given this chance in their final days of their life. He should also reminds himself, power is short lived, old age and death is certainty. Maybe then he might turn a different page of honesty.

  10. There were German’s who were afraid to speak out against Hitler and the Nazis in the 1930s. Dictators rely upon the silence of cowards.
