Regardless of his issues with his social life he was extremely talented on the soccer pitch the likes of very few have been,, he’ll go down in sports history as being one of the greatest football (soccer) players ever. R.I.P “D.M” 🌧️ ⚽🏟️⚽🌧️
This barely touches his legacy. Just his stint at Napoli alone is a documentary onto itself. He won the 1986 World Cup by himself really. Same with the Scudettos and UEFA cups at Napoli.
In a sport like soccer that’s saying a lot; it’s not like basketball where one guy can make the difference. Even Pele had great players around him. No doubt one of the greatest, if not the greatest.
