    1. @skip kutzer yep true fascist mentality.
Go right ahead. You don’t scare me.
I promise you you’d be a victim quick before you even got to my door.
But anyway. Nice to see the fascist show their face

    2. @skip kutzer yes I do. I’m not scared. You can’t do anything to me. I’m retired so you can’t get me fired I live on a two mile road so you can’t come to my house without being shot. So what are you going to do. Expect keep showing the rest of of what a fascist you are .
Your all talk. Typical fascist. Nothing but a crybaby child.
      You don’t scare me.

  1. The Pandemic Has Exposed A Problem That Was There Already and that problem is Donald J Trump. Let us not forget that he was a lousy president long before the pandemic showed up.

    1. pandemic exposed the problem of Donald Trump closing the White House pandemic office in 2018 and our Cyber hack exposed the problem of Donald Trump closing the White house Anti Cyber Terrorism office in 2017…. exposed I think, is Donald Trump

    2. And Nancy Pelosi saying that there would be no stimulus before the election is somehow ok? And u people keep blindly following one party as if either side truly cares about the people. Smh

    1. @Manly_Man That’ because Austin is part of a blue county. Cities like Austin are good for democrats and leftists to live in and tour. Most red states have blue havens basically.

    2. Al Vernick: Good question. Those people who vote Republican no doubt have several reasons, just like Democrats do. However, those people at the _core_ of the Republican Party: a) are apparently not doing badly or at least not any worse than before Trump, and b) like the fact that Republicans tell them that they have always been right, though the media and those on the left have over and over again proved them to be wrong on so many issues. Essentially, Republican politicians tell their constituents that those whom they don’t like deserve not to be liked and are deplorable, without necessarily using that Hillary word that was used to bludgeon her politically in 2016. Republicans always hold Democrats to a higher standard than they hold themselves. For example, immigrants are blamed for stagnant wages instead of billionaire individuals or corporations, who are now in a position to set wages almost wherever they want for less-skilled workers (we’re talking about 21st century skills, not 20th century ones) because of the decimation of unions over the past half century, an obsession with acquisitiveness that has given preference among consumers for cheap products from overseas instead of backing their fellow American workers, a lack of re-training in 21st century skills, and automation, which is going to decrease the need for human workers, even as the country’s population increases. It’s easier to convince people to blame other people they don’t like anyway than it is to actually solve long-term, massive problems, like a lack of well-paying jobs for 200 million Americans aged 18-65, and climate change, just to name two. Democrats at least try to wrestle with these problems. Without productive Republican input, it can be argued that the Democratic solution is to throw money at them, and not much more. Republican politicians, however, especially Donald Trump, don’t even try, and always, but always take the easy way out. They have convinced their followers to be just as intellectually lazy as they are (and that doesn’t mean you need a Yale degree; my father left school after the 9th grade in 1932 and was never intellectually lazy). Sad and perplexing, I agree.

    3. @DevilJin01 I know I lived in Austin for most of the 80s. I always considered it a beautiful Oasis in the middle of a desert wasteland, metaphorically speaking of course.

  2. These insecurities are exactly what the lone star state voted for, Canada secured 2000 dollars a month for it’s citizens yet the United States falsely claims that it’s the greatest country.

    1. Canada has also secured enough of the vaccines for its population, and will be one of the first countries to reach safe herd immunity. All this while Trump passed on buying more.

    2. America is a country founded by murderers. Yeah, it was already inhabited, with native Americans! But those folks were murdered, enslaved and burglarized to name a few. All in the name of setting down a flag?! It’d be like me entering a home and kicking everyone out. It’s my place now! I’m setting down my furniture aka a flag. To indicate that I found it. Discovered it even! Get out!
That’s what this country was built upon. The bloody backs of the natives is where we established our kingdom. Therefore, there’s little great about America. They are in love with themselves. Perpetuating the home team mentality that no one messes with the You @$$ of Hey! We’ve got nuclear devices that we ain’t afraid to use. Try us. Got a prez with the nickname Don the Bomb. Don’t test us, U.S.

    3. @Asherah 1147

Actually, there was plenty of land for the immigrants and the Native Americans. It was how the immigrants went about it that was a problem. But additionally, many of the native tribes were not stationary, so if settlers ended up on land the natives had vacated, how were they to know?
Yes, it all could have been handled better.
Why do you think the Canadians didn’t have the same problem?
      Or Central and South America?
      And what about Australia?
What you have said, while only showing part of the picture, applies to many places, not just the U.S.
Man’s inhumanity to man has been a worldwide problem. Is any country’s history free of it?

    4. @Asherah 1147 Not that it’s okay, but every country is established by murders, it’s called war. At least level the playing field here.

    1. @Anthony Hewetson what do you call reasonable? After all Democrat lies say they only want weapons of war, sorry only the military has those. Then they say assault weapons, sorry assault is an action not an inanimate object.
What I own is none of your bussiness and by thinking reasonably that if what Americans actually own for guns, if that was the problem then you would not be here talking about it. 20,000 gun laws already exsist, does that make you feel safer????

    2. @Duane Hawkins its sad seeing any state starving. thats why people need to vote that party out.

    3. Many there are simply selfish, people vote for their own interests. I’m alright Jack. Many working class Americans are just bitter too. So it is a circle of greed, selfishness, and delusion.

  3. pandemic exposed the problem of Donald Trump closing the White House pandemic office in 2018 and our Cyber hack exposed the problem of Donald Trump closing the White house Anti Cyber Terrorism office in 2017…. exposed I think, is Donald Trump

    1. Meanwhile the Democrat lead states continue to shut down and the highest ranking Democrat in the land, Nasty Pelosi, said there would be no stimulus before the election. Ya… Democrats care. Neither side cares. They no longer work for we the people

    2. Decades of talk radio and Fox News have destroyed their critical thinking ability. Just listen to them it’s always the same talking points. People like Hannity and Limbaugh are the ventriloquist and they are the dummies.

    3. @That Guy The stimulus/relief money was in the Heroes Act that the Democrats in the House passed last May. Look no further that Don the Con and Grim Reaper McConnell for who’s to blame for not passing that bill. Mitch made no effort to vote on the bill or resolve differences in conference committee.

  4. If the Government doing the right way I believe no one have to live without food. PPP & SBA programs are useless programs to poor peoples. I hope the Government to see this issue the way as I see.

    1. Yes, we cannot have the world thinking we have, not only excessive numbers of Covid and death, but starvation. Got to keep everyone thinking we are the greatest country in the world. You know, MAGA, right? Shoot me.

    2. Yeah starved children in US is hidden shame no one wants to know. It’s more wide spread than people want to know.

  5. America – we could use money. Republicans – umm, we don’t have the money.
Big business – we need money. Republicans – how many billion’s you want?

    1. Don’t be jealous. It’s not a good look for you.
Why don’t you make something of yourself instead of crying on YouTube.
If you put as much effort in doing something with your life as you do crying on here you’d be worth millions

    2. @David Hale take your own advice Hale and Hearty. Cause that was about as uncreative a comment as I’ve seen in awhile. Totally negative with you blaming us for your bad head space. Worry about yo self Big D.

  6. We are the riches country in the world, but we leave our people hungry and without medical help.
    THIS IS A DISGRACE

    1. @Endorphin Rider you are correct. americans tend to forget that, the same way they tend to “forget” facts and reality

    2. @Asherah 1147 We are bankrupt beyond measure and the Greatest Debtor Nation to have every existed. Pretty sure most people didn’t pass Accounting 101 or obviously don’t know what a balance sheet is.

  7. every time trump go to play golf it cost millions and taxpayers money is paying for it. These $2000 or $600 is an insult to injury. The govt should have given a monthly check to people.

    1. Don’t should your pants. Should? There’s lotsa things that they should do. But ultimately don’t. So wish and hope away….

  8. Why does the media keep making these cutecy names like food insecurities, the Citizens are facing STARVATION AT THE HANDS IF THE WEALTHLY HYPOCRITS 😠😠
    IT’S NOT FOOD INSECURITY – IT’S STARVATION !!!!

    1. its more then just starvation i think is why, its also the fact that cheep food is not nutritious when one apple costs around 2$ and one packet of ramen cost 10 – 25 cents. The ramen is warm filling and plentiful vs one apple, for poor people its an easy choice.

  9. I cannot remember the exact number but somewhere between 80-90% of the population doesnt have the money for a 400$ emergency. So one tow and tire replacement will put them in the position of choosing what to buy or pay like food , rent or bills. And that statistic was before covid got involved.
