All votes should be counted. This is a USPS error and these voters should not be silenced for the USPS poor performance. DeJoy should be held personally responsible and charged with election fraud if the votes are not counted.

The mailing machines were working fine during time for tax forms to go out and all other mail. As for the states you mentioned, no they’re not progressive strongholds, but there are clear indications many voters in those states want a shift towards the center, even if it’s slightly left of center.
Center being the operative word. The center-right and the center-left have been pulled apart by extremists on both sides of the aisle.
Think back to the time when members of Congress could find common ground and work across the aisle. They weren’t all golden years for sure, but the Cold War consensus made American politics less extreme on the right and left.
Remember the Blue Dog Democrats? How about Patrick Moynihan, who encouraged cooperation?
Even Nixon supported health care reform and environmental protection.
I hope that our country became less divisive and begins to heal.

Another misleading and click-baiting MSNBC article and headline. There are NOT 300,000 missing ballots. The ballots were delivered directly to election offices with minimal USPS handling, in bulk, using a single scan for delivery confirmation. It’s not the USPS that confirms the ballots were received and counted, the individual election offices scan the ballot and email the voter that their absentee ballot was received and counted. How ironic is it, that the “racist” president performed better with minority demographics than any republican candidate since the 60s? Solidly blue districts were overturned in the house, including Latino districts on the southern border, and the media is now declaring Cubans aren’t Latino. This should be a wake up call to all conservatives. Fight for the vote of every person regardless of demographic because ideas trump supposed group identity
