Why Donald Trump thinks he deserves a third term

President Donald Trump hasn't even been reelected to a second term, and he is already thinking about a third. While serving three terms is Constitutionally banned, Chris Cillizza explains how this narrative falls into a bigger picture about Trump's legacy.

    1. JUST LIKE WE SAID WHEN OBAMA WAS PRESIDENT OBAMA WAS NOT IN CHARGE REMEMBER??? MORONS WE SAID OBAMA DID NOT RUN CRAP. AND IT IS THE SAME FOR TRUMP PEOPLE. See we are the side who is consistent with message and truth. Obama did not run anything and NEITHER DOES TRUMP

    2. @♿NPC-TardLivesMatter✊ Wait until thee RNC convention ratings come out. In the pits I would assume after seeing who they have scheduled to speak.

    1. @Julito Fernandez opportunity he won’t be able to he’ll be out of the officeand so will all of trumps little cronies most likely half of them will be in prisonthat’ll basically Trump will have a cellmate for the essence Steve bannon

  1. *”We won with poorly educated, I love the poorly educated!”*
                      – Trump, 2016

Trump supporters: i dun no wut dat means but make america grate agen 2020!!!1!

    1. He does speak their language. Name calling. Miss spellings. Slurred speech. And maybe most important. LIES LIES AND LIES. That is how they want to make America great again.

    1. You libtards are still fantasizing about a first term. CNN keeps leading you on and you can’t figure it out. 🤣

    1. @Karen Shaw How can you, how can anyone defend the Democrats’ firebombing campaign in Oregon? BLM is EVIL! FACT: Biden and Harris both fund them. Harris justifies and incites them. They are using terrorism as a weapon to intimidate the American public! Anyone who buys in and accepts their evil doing is evil!

    2. @Karen Shaw Why, because I think for myself? The Democrats are evil. There is no excuse for setting fires and political violence and their cause is a hoax. There is no rampant police brutality, just rampant crime in Democrat-run cities.

    3. @Insomnia Pictures Could you please start thinking again for real and stop using only Trump propaganda as your source of information? You are most likely older than 4, so you may actually remember how it was to live under a Democratic gov. How was it? Did you come across many state sponsered child-molesting communist satanists during Obama’s term? I guess not, so please stop evoking that doomsday bs and use your brain instead of believing everything Trump says. The guy knows he will probably go to jail if he doesn’t win, so this is his endgame and he will tell you whatever may work so you elect him again. Democrats evil? Don’t be so stupid, burning cities are the result of his term, so much for law and order. All the dead from covid just because this moron doesnt get what an infectious disease is. What does he have to do to prove his utter imcompetence? Take a crap on the table? Vote wisely

    1. Lol 30 years? He would be the luckiest man on earth get that short of a term for all of the crimes he’s committed IN PUBLIC!

    1. Instert_very-generic_name , according to Trump, he’s immortal. “Never in the history of the world” kind of guy. Hell, he even “surprises doctors” on cognitive tests, let alone his overall physical health. So, yeah he’ll never die.

    2. I think a president should only serve as a cheerleader, cannot accounting on one man decides everything, everything should be decided by the people, people votes on everything, online voting only takes a minute, one click, the internet company has data and knows who’s lives in America or not, a qualified voter or not. I never knew a country can put a knew nothing but pretends to knew everything baby in the highest position, so a wrong president can damage everything, it’s time to put billions of brains in charge, not one little funny empty brain in charge. In my opinion, it just occurs to me. I think bunker boy even failed as a cheerleader, you cannot cheer on something that ends up hurting people like encouraging people not wear masks during pandemic. If the boy knows to hire the right people, fine, but he keeps on hire the worst wrong guy. So bye bye funny baby.

    3. You are so right! He’s a FAKE president who stole the election in 2016 – Because of his collusion with Russia.

    1. That has been my question. Why is a failed president seeking reelection? I thought he would be happy to get out of this and go back to his previous life and businesses if they still exist after this.

    2. Real Time Biblical Interpretation I agree! Seems like it would be really stressful to always lie all the time and have more then half of America not approve of his job in office. He has to know he doing a terrible job. But then again, he’s a narcissist so maybe he doesn’t.

    3. @Real Time Biblical Interpretation It’s because he’s a narcissist. He doesn’t understand the concept of failure or shame as those don’t increase his self-image. Same reason why he fires everyone that disagrees with him.

    4. @Real Time Biblical Interpretation He is unindicted coconspirator on the felony charge Cohen is in prison for along with at least ten counts of obstruction of justice as outlined in the Mueller report. He is going to prison if not reelected.

  2. Let’s be honest, he dint deserve a first term. I say we put him to use and tie h to the bottom of airforce 1 and fly him over the CA wildfires so his daily tantrums and hissy fits will help out out the fires. I swear no one cries more than that king baby!

  3. “FOUR MORE BEERS” As a recovering alcoholic if Trump was to win reelection I may just renounce my sobriety. I can’t even fathom another four years of this BS and incompetency.

    1. Another friend of Bill W here.
The program has taught me to have compassion and empathy.
To be of service to others.
The tangerine terror is incapable of anything close to those traits.
His self serving is just terrible.

  4. I was so afraid of this happening, my husband and I were talking about this as soon as he was elected. Now I’m actually hearing this. Oh No!!!!

    1. Unfortunately yes. Seems to “love” authoritarian regimes. Quite terrifying for the planets most important role. Also he sounds/acts as an unstable man. You need to get rid of him asap.

  5. For a sitting President to even suggest this seriously brings his state of mind into question. Especially if that President can not see the devastation his lack of prioritizing has cost the American people. These days I try to think about what it would be like to have to live under the ruler ship of a dictator in our country. I hope it don’t happen.

  6. “FOUR MORE YEARS!” in prison, Mr. President.

“HOAX” is an abbreviation for “Hopeless, Overestimation And Xenophobie”

  7. The people of America fought for the constitution, they literally died because they lived a life under a dictator and attempted to stop it from happening again. So they created two terms, the UK has it, NZ has it, Australia has it, most EU countries have it. Don’t disrespect the people that died for your freedoms.

    1. The UK, NZ, Australia, and many EU countries (but not all), don’t have term limits on the PMs and Presidents.
It seems to be more common for Presidential republics to have term limits, but less so for Prime Ministers.

    2. @Liam Collins Correct, but a Prime Minister can be changed at any time by the vote of the government, and that makes them readily and constantly accountable. Unlike the ridiculous Presidential system that is essentially a time and money wasting conflict generator, and invitation to abuse of power when unscrupulous incumbents are elected.

    3. @Alan Flint yeah true, a PM is often first among equals with their cabinet ministers, who can replace said PM, but Presidents are often constitutionally exalted above their cabinet members, and can usually dismiss them at will (in America’s case at least).

    4. @Sally Alibi Trumpists, put your MAGA hats on: “Misled and Gullible Admirer”.
And stay out of Crowds or you’ll be “Misled and Gullible Admirers Trump Suckered”… M.A.G.A.T.S
      . …
