This was a fast flash of weather compared to 98. So it’s understandable that they have power outages still.
u do know only reason why 98 was worse bc it lasted 4-5 days this was less than 24hrs imagine if it lasted same amount it wouldv been 100x worse

We pay them a LOT of money to do this work – more than you can imagine when they’re working overtime. Don’t ever think a hydro worker is some noble hero working for your sake – they’re just highly paid union workers looking out for their own bottom line and most would happily go on strike in the middle of a power outage if their union masters demanded it.

Like here in Toronto they have started to move our Hydro from the poles to the earth burying the electrical system here has been fantastic for outages WAKEY WAKEY HYDRO QUEBEC
