  1. This is absolutely wreckless of her and her staff to keep her in power. Shes (sadly) lost her senses and they’re rolling her out like a weekend at bernies corpse

    1. @Biden Sucks  I don’t disagree with that at all. That’s the difference between right and left, we call out everyone. If you’re a sex offender or ancient as hell, don’t let the door hit you on the way out

  2. Either party when you are ill and not able to attend for an extended period of time you should step down.

    1. Active or competent representation? Californians deserve a lot of things, so do Georgians, but they have to settle for marj traitor green, who was barred from committees for her first two years, and thus was useless to her electorate. Meanwhile, leader McConnell’s home state suffers with some of the lowest of benchmark scores, so he should go as well, because his home state is in a mess, and they deserve better. Devolder hasn’t even started his service due to his past, so what about New York. Do they deserve active representation?

    2. They have Senator Alex Padilla and 53 representatives. They have enough representation

    1. Age is not the inhibiting factor; cognitive ability is David…Two classic examples; Chuck Grassley and Ruth Bader Ginsburg…..

  3. We need to install TIME limit on ANY government official and START direct election like ANY civilized country on this planet!!!

    1. Which country has time limits on that level of election? And who are doing direct elections on every government official?

  4. There comes a time for all of us no matter our occupation that we have to realize that our time has come and gone. This woman is at deaths door step but still can not let go. Very sad.

    1. She owns that seat until the next election. If it was me and I had a cushy job, I sure as hell wouldn’t give it up either. And neither would many people. Who the hell passes up on free benefits and a nice salary?!?!

    2. @Sebastian Liebmann dont you have a retirement-age over there?? In Sweden we all retire at 67 🇸🇪

  5. She clearly thinks that only she can fix it. She thinks so highly of herself and so little of the vast number of people younger than her, talented, thoughtful, connected to their communities, and serving and willing to serve. Her hubris to hang on no matter what is astonishingly absent of judgement.

    1. In Canada, Supreme Court justices must retire at 75 (though our court is not nearly as political). Our Senate’s not very powerful and senators, who are appointed by the Prime Minister, must also retire at 75. Some go kicking and screaming, claiming age discrimination, as it’s a kushy job with mega perks, but I just laugh…

    2. @John Armstrong That’s good. There should also be age limits for presidents and prime ministers. We need more younger people since they are in touch with the problems of the younger generation and can keep up with technology changes.

    3. But your president is running again and you’re going to vote for him again 🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

    1. @Nera Kar President term limits is only two, four year terms and nothing is wrong with that. Its others in congress and senate that needs to be addressed. Three or four terms limits should be a thing !

Any politician should NOT be in power 44 years and almost half a century ! That’s speaks volume of what our government has become how cruel politics is now and sad for the American people.

  6. Why is it so much easier to take an “elderly” person’s keys away, than it is to get them out of the senate, or congress, or off the supreme court……or out of the whitehouse?

  7. It is concerning, I have the utmost respect for Senator Feinstein, I would like to see her pass the baton on to someone else.

  8. Term Limits, Age Limits, and direcition of duty due to medial or any other reasons should be an absolute tool for removal. It is selfish to hold onto power as she is doing, just like many other politicians.

  9. “Any member of any of the three branches of government that is in appointed or elected office, after the age of 80 must take an annual cognitive test. If they pass they may continue to serve, if they fail they must step down”

    1. That makes good sense. It is fair to all concerned.. I would hope for an actual Panel of Medical Professionals to conduct the Test however, as sadly Hyper Partisanship does not preclude any Profession including the Medical Field.. We need to actually hear from Ms Feinstein at this point ideally..To listen to her personally, not just judge based on her frail physical appearance.

  10. Protecting the legacy of a nearly 90 year old multi millionaire is NOT as important as having proper representation for working people

  11. This is embarrassing

It’s really the equivalent to Tony Soprano’s mother refusing to go to the retirement community. ❤ GOD Bless Everyone

  12. You know someone is a tyrant and narcissist if they refuse to relinquish power when they should.

  13. It’s hard to get her to leave when you guys keep telling her she’s been there the whole time when she rambles that she’s never left

  14. Just put term limits on the congress and Supreme Court. They collect too much power staying that long.
