    1. Looking at the yearbook pictures ,he apparently was in many of them. Look more like a student than a “professional” teacher there.

    1. Its a big deal ..as PM he will be much more respected by our American trade partners than mr dress up…big positive deal.. many Canadians that cross border shop understand and support him further for it.

    1. It’s that Scheer stood by while his party criticized those with dual citizenship. His silence speaks volumes. He’s a hypocrite and liar. That’s all.

  2. There are now at least 56 sitting parliamentarians — 44 MPs and 12 senators — born in countries outside Canada, according to information from the Library of Parliament and websites.

    1. @missing Link Really ? John A MacDonald was born in Glasgow. That’s in Scotland. You remember right ?
Our first prime minister. Ever read a book ?

    1. Chris Reineck please explain WHEN he has ever brought up the issues of dual citizenship. That was Harper, I believe, and he’s not even a party candidate. Pulease! 🙄

  3. Just a heads up for all those who are moaning about Scheers dual citizenship, our first prime minister was born in Scotland.
Lets do a quiz, his first name was John so, what was his last name ?

  4. this is more nothing burger, the desperation of the liberals to dig up dirt which has no meaning or bearing on the election.
