“Heat dome??” Atmospheric dome, not heat dome. Increase pressure equals a higher atmosphere equals a thinner atmosphere equals more radiation equals more heat during the day, less rain and cool nights, like in California, now.

Many States set their all time low temps for June, the world wide temperature average for 2021 is 0.2c higher that the 1979 to 2020 average.
Snowstorms in Texas and Canada set their all time high with 49 C almost beating Death Valley! crazy how we screwed up the climate this much!
