I still think DC Nat’l Guard was delayed going to The Capitol due to a lack of DOD approval via a Trump Admin order. DC Nat’l Guard is the only Nat’l Guard that needs DOD approval before deployment.

@WN Safford, as you pointed out, the only National Guard troops that are under direct control of the president are the DC National Guard troops. The National Guard troops of the various states and US territories would have to be nationalized by the president before they would be under the SecDef control. There is absolutely NO record of any of the fictitious nonsense that Trump claims actually had occurred.
