    1. Respectfully no, she’s pivoting like Republican politician – real Americans are disgusted by this treatment to these poor migrants.

  1. People should be happy Desantis is footing the bill for these sanctuary places…after all..they said they welcome immigrants with open arms. What’s the problem?

  2. Doesn’t DeSantis realize that you’re supposed to quietly fly them to discreet places around the country in the middle of the night

  3. She can’t agree with how they were treated is all I heard. Things like this just makes me wonder…do politicians have mirrors?

    1. If they were treated that bad they wouldn’t be smiling and hugging. The one kid with a full mouth of braces couldn’t be to poor.

    2. Actually, if you removed your head from your hind quarters for a moment, she said a lot. She followed the law and paid her own way here. She did not break our laws. Most of these people’s claims are garbage and they are violating our laws. They are lucky we don’t hold them in camps until their claims are adjudicated.

  4. she doesn’t want to comment on the facts in front of her, but happily speculates that they are all victims of cartels, etc. talking points are not facts.

  5. She sounds like a typical Russian politician answering questions by using misleading political views. There isn’t a yes or no answer to anything

  6. When POLITICIANS say let’s not be political they are very busy hiding from facts. ITS YOUR JOB TO BE POLITICAL. STOP LETTING THEM GET AWAY WITH SAYING THAT. ITS THEIR JOBS TO BE ‘POLITICAL’.

  7. The honest question is about tactics used by Ron DeSantis, period. Republican Rep. Spartz does everything she can do to NOT answer this question. When partisanship becomes poison.

    1. @Janice Bryant what part of LEGAL do you not understand? She said it several times, she supports the legal immigration process. I just love how the left ignores that part, then claims…we don’t support open borders or crime! Yes you do!! Stupid hypocritical policies coming home to roost. And the responses from these sanctuary city mayors make great video and memes. Thanks

  8. All of a sudden towards the end she somehow starts speaking about sanctuary cities, after insisting she knew nothing about the issue.

  9. The illegal immigration issue is problematic and has been for the 60 years of my life. Representative Spartz states she came to the U.S. legally. And some of what she is saying is correct.
About nine years ago I was working for the State of Texas. Once myself and others attended a Seminar put on by Homeland Security, and the Dallas Police Department. The focus was on human trafficking.
One of the subjects that was covered was how people came to the U.S. legally with the promise of a job by an American sponsor. Once those people got to that job; their documents were confiscated, and the immigrants could not leave the grounds. They were provided dormitory like living quarters, and could only shop at the company store. They could not go to any local town. Again this is people who’d done everything the right way.
    And this wasn’t just companies.
People get sponsored to come work in an American homes, and the same things happen. The only way that the government finds out is when a migrant passes a message to someone who is visiting. These people had been literally enslaved. You just don.t hear about it.

  10. Aren’t we tired yet of these freaking politicians who refuse to answer the question and instead go off on some unrelated tangent. Answer the freaking question lady

    1. @William Sanders she is moving away from the real issue; what the Cartels have to do with the way they are getting them in buses. What the Cartel’s wrongdoings outside the country what can we do because even reporters and journalists killed by these Cartels that some of them are in government or law enforcement agencies . She’s dodging the questions blatantly. She says that we need to talk to each other from state to state but she still doesn’t condemn DeSantis and Abbot actions purposely and not calling or warning that they are sending them immigrants.

    3. @William Sanders There is a legal process. We can not allow everybody to just come into our country. Maybe texas should bus some immigrants to your place or outside your neighborhood, and then you will not be saying what you are saying. I agree with her we need a border the responsibility has become to much for one state to handle. I see illegals where I am from and it should be spread across the other states so they can bear the responsibility too.

  11. First lie from the cartel, second lie from the DeSantis crew. It’s sequential now.
Why does she pretend to be stupid?

  12. I’ve never heard someone dance around a question so eloquently. I couldn’t do the job Sanchez. You have the patience of a priest. Kudos

    2. @Sean McCartney YOU didn’t listen to ANY of trump’s 4 press secretaries, did you?
Do you remember ALTERNATIVE FACTS being pushed into a conversation?

  13. She literally wasted almost 8 mins of everyone’s time with this interview. All the degrees she holds, she must also have a PHD in circle talking.

    2. @L Myrski You don’t know what she actually did. She was 22 years old with two degrees when coming here after being raised in the USSR, for all you know she could have been brought here initially as a spy.
And the people being bussed didn’t all come illegally, they came to the border and went to be processed as they are supposed to and were shipped elsewhere by the governors of those states without being properly processed and are being basically set up to fail the proper in processing since they were shipped to states other than where their hearings were set.

  14. I agree, we need to actually sit down and come up with a comprehensive solution to the problem. But she is absolutely wrong when she says the violence south of our border is a result of our border policy. That violence has been one of the driving forces for migration for at least 50 years. The gangs were not created from human trafficking, but from the drug cartels. Yes, people want to come to the US not only to escape the violence, but the crushing effects of climatic disasters.
    1) The most effective long term solution to our drug problem and the violence it finances in Central America is to start treating drugs as a medical problem, and not a legal one. Those drug cartels are then without their cash cow.
    2) We must rapidly address climate change.
    3) Walls will not stop desperate people. We need a way to give these people hope. After all, we are in a severe labor shortage right now, and it’s not going to get better with the birth rates declining. We need workers, migrants need jobs. It’s not us against them, it’s how can we find the win-win situation.

  15. Amazing that someone like her can get elected to any sort of official position. Though I guess deflect, deny, and change the subject are the core requirements of any GOP official.
