    1. @Josef Jerbils in the 50s it did. On one income. When the tax rate was higher for millionaires and executives weren’t paying themselves 20X’s or more what their employees made.

    2. @Jason Burden What was the corporate tax rate then? Or are you talking about capital gains?

    3. Not all jobs are worth $15. Not all workers are worth $15. If you apply yourself you’ll make a living wage. Most of you lazy slugs want a living wage, but offer an employer very little.

    1. …and…? People with morals still didn’t want to PASS covid to those vulnerable people… so they wouldn’t have to die in such high numbers. And also … people don’t want to be in the 20% of those under 65 who died. Men were more severely affected with a bad outcome from covid. Should we have just let all the women loose and make the men stay at home? 🤣 some of us didn’t want men in our lives to die or have an adverse outcome. Like hospitalization. Nerve damage. Lung damage. Etc.

  1. When l had rubbed my bottom with a toiIet paper, hmm wow, l noticed the BLM mural there in a brown dye

    1. @Josef Jerbils If you notice dirty tracks of wheels over the BLM murals in streets, use your yellow rain to wash the dirt off firmly. So do I. BLM!!!!

  2. My son my hero works in health care worked got covid19 went back to work never got compensation at his small group home he’s getting burn out now they are paying people to go back to work which is great god bless them. It’s a blessing my son’s ok just unfair to watch rested Americans getting bonuses for doing the right thing when my grandkids ask why daddy has raccoon eyes.

  3. I get that the minimum wage needs raised, but I will never get why SOME people are b!tching that they can’t buy all the best things life has to offer working an entry-level job.

    1. A master orator and propagandist, he is generally accounted responsible for presenting a favorable image of the Nazi regime to the German people. Following Hitler’s suicide, Goebbels served as chancellor of Germany for a single day before he and his wife, Magda Goebbels, had their six children poisoned and then took their own lives.

    1. @David Eby People aren’t reliable workers in jobs that pay low wages because a low wage doesn’t inspire workers to feel as though they have any sort investment in these work places. And why should they? Low wage jobs are a dime a dozen.

    2. @Demetria Karnavas Yeah, you’re one of those bad workers. You do understand the concept of bettering yourself. Get the best paying job you can find while you work at getting skills and training that command better pay. You don’t seem to be very motivated.

    3. @David Eby see we can have a discussion about this without insulting someone by calling someone you don’t know as a bad worker… It’s kinda like me calling you a corporate moron using stupid logic…. It doesn’t help anything or make any take your point seriously.

    4. @Demetria Karnavas Why should they? Are you kidding me?Those entry level jobs are where you should learn a work ethic and prove you will show up and do your work. That’s how you get a good work history and can show future employers you have something to offer.

  4. Just pay your workers more and take care of their health! It’s not that f’n hard!

  5. More of these workers who are looking to get by not doing any work should really consider a career as a republican in Congress. 😅😂

  6. Nope, Connecticut gov. So out of touch with what citizens need, livable wages, child care now, etc. $1k? Yawn

  7. Keep those stupid one-time bonuses and make wages happen so people can get by with one job and money to save! Everything else is an insult and people are waking up to it! 😡

  8. Just raise the minimum wage to what it would have been, if the filth of man had not stop raising it,, since the 70″s. Poor 0.01% piggies need more money.
