COVID-19: Students evicted from McGill residence for violating public health protocols

At least 18 students living in a McGill residence were forced to leave, with the school saying they violated public health protocols.

    1. Lol, it’s not your standard landlord and tenant agreement, try that crap their and you’ll be on the street in seconds when the cops arrive.

      Lol, should have just followed the basic rules, sucks to be you, no sympathy whatsoever.

    2. No lease is signed. It is not a formal landlord and tenant agreement. No legal rights are provided under this arrangement. The students are guests on private property.

      Absolutely no different than staying at a hotel.

  1. Well if you violated the known rules surrounding COVID and you gathered in groups…..why should anyone believe you will stay quarantined in your rooms?
