@JIM EAGLE actually he won’t even be able to appeal his case due to the fact that he’s done the same thing in the past and the fact that this fact was actually kept from the jury so even if he tries to appeal it and the jury does go back and they bring this new information about him sticking a man’s face in a puddle with a knee on his neck it’s going to make them plead guilty again because this is not the first time he’s done this the second time

@TheBlues32 What? There’s quite a few things that could get Chauvin another trial. None of those things will assure he walks. Thats not how appeals work. And the protests have zero to do with the appeals process. How do you think the protests have any bearing on his trial? Legally speaking.
@Eric Miller The jurors feared for their safety as a result of the protests. Thus, they were more inclined to give a guilty verdict.
@TheBlues32 Every judge in America would dismiss that motion. No lawyer would ever file that motion. Its laughable.
@Eric Miller Laughable? How is it laughable? The names of the jurors could be found with ease. The Use of Force Expert had his old home splashed in pig’s blood. Oh and let’s not forget the months of riots that took place after Floyd was killed to begin with. The fact that it could have started all over again…and from how people were talking, it probably would have…would be enough to influence the jury. The jury should have been immediately sequestered after selection. It may not have prevented them from being influenced, but it would hamper any appeals. The court would have done its best to keep things fair.

@Nicky Krystals All very true. I’m not saying at all that I think Chauvin is innocent, but that jury should have been sequestered and it’s not fair that he only had ONE lawyer. He should have had two or three. What was that woman behind him doing? She certainly wasn’t helping Eric Nelson in any way, shape, or form. I’m convinced she was on that laptop playing Dungeons and Dragons throughout the entire trial.
@Justin Bradburn very unlikely. All b.s aside the guy killed someone subdued on national TV. His defense is he was doing as trained. Form what I’ve seen floyd was no saint and I don’t like him on a personal level but he was killed nonetheless while under control of law enforcement.

I had mixed feelings. There was a question on the questionnaire about it and I put I did not know. The reason, at that time, was I did not know what the outcome was going to be, so I felt like either way you are going to disappoint one group or the other. I did not want to go through rioting and destruction again and I was concerned about people coming to my house if they were not happy with the verdict.
