    1. @Stephen r Wow, your comment is a very good example of Zen’s quote from Einstein. You wrote:
IS THAT YOUR THING. PASS OF OTHER PEOPLE’S QUOTES. DID YOU WANT TO DEFUND POLICE.

    2. @COMPUTER SCIENCE the quote is often attributed to him.. because the origin of it is often obscure…. the content is what is important , not the person saying it …
for instance, trump claimed to had invented the word “caravan” and the term ,”prime the pump”

    3. @Albert Kundrat Are you merely playing with wording, twisting around the Einstein quote, or do you actually mean something here? I ask because what you wrote doesn’t make sense, at least at the outset.
      You wrote:
However, does FATE (or DESTINY) concerning BRIAN, and the 4 VICTIMS have Its “OUTER’LIMITS?

  1. “A stranger in the house…”.
This house was basically a mini-dormitory on a college campus. A “stranger in the house” is not at all uncommon in any college housing. Everyone seems to think that the surviving roommate knew that this stranger had just murdered 4 people, and went back to bed.

    1. @OnVacation what 9/1 BODYCAM video are you referring to? Can you share a link here? Or be more specific (like the title of the video or words tagged) so I can search for it? Thanks!

    2. off campus housing is even looser…no rules, except the ones the roommates make…that’s mostly why frats etc. move off campus

    3. @Mr Smartypants not her words. Police write the reports. They often summarize and use their own words to convey the point

  2. He knew of them. Or probably had a short interaction of some kind. It doesn’t take a lot to make someone who is insecure and narcissistic go off the deep end.

    1. @Jennifer Lynne I’ve been to Pullman. As I recall, they have grocery stores there. But hey, maybe folks like driving about 20 miles R/T for groceries.

    2. @Kedrin Myers Okay. You trust strategic eyes? Any other sources making the same claim? If not, seems a questionable source.

    3. @Kedrin Myers No. Trying to figure out where you’re getting your information. Nothing conclusive that any of the girls slept around.

    4. @Kedrin Myers YOU Blame the Victim !! ?She deserved to be Butchered by a Psycho., and caused her friends Deaths , ? That’s your rational because YOU Think she “slept around “That’s very Perverse and speaks Volumes about you !! Gawd ! You must be a hit at any Party !!!

  3. The motive? Revenge for rejection? Psychos by definition can murder without any rational or coherent motive. And in any case in criminal law you don’t need to prove a motive to convict the accused of murder. You just need intention + act (mens rea + actus reus).

    1. @Karen Koe Apparently the accused’s sister lived nearby and he used the 24 hour grocery store nearby. He could also have been visiting friends, going to the movies or any number of local venues, near where he lived. Other knowledgeable people have analysed the grainy footage of a or more white cars and have said it is not all the same vehicle. There is too much guessing and evidence is circumstantial. He may or may not be the killer, but we need to wait to see fuller evidence and a law case in court to examine in detail this evidence, with expert witnesses.

    2. @Jack Treeman It seems he’s more comfortable in the classroom because academics is where he excel. Social settings not so much.

    3. @Personal Cheeses I’ve watched all kinds of videos and haven’t heard it mentioned once. I read one person say it in the comments about how he “followed one of them”, so I went to check it out. All I’ve heard was how there’s “no connection” between him & any of the victims, hence no motive. I think him stalking them via social media is a connection and obsession is a possible motive. 🤷🏼‍♀️

  4. Good interview. I think the motive question is moot. Murderers are not known to be a good source of info on why they did what they did…usually just giving some lame excuse (like Brian Laundrie’s “motive” for killing Gabbie Pettito). Do you ask a crazy person why they acted crazy? If you did, I doubt you’d get a useful answer. If anything, they’d probably just try to shift the blame on someone else. Same goes for murderers.

    1. The Reddit “survey” shows someone with stunningly poor insight and low research skills. If both “Bryan Kohberger” is the perpetrator, it really doesn’t matter a toss what he says of what he thinks about whoever did it.

    2. Elliot Rodger, Alek minassian, Tres Genko and Orlando Harris gave explicit reasons for why they committed their murders and many people still consider them mere excuses. It doesn’t matter what motivated the killer, their reasons for it will always be considered as mere excuses by people if they can’t relate to the motive of the crime.

    3. He’s not crazy. And I’m sure he had a reason to do what he did and that the families would like to know it. Not to mention all the doctors who prevent these types of atrocities by getting violent angry men psychological help

  5. It is very unlikely he knew them well, due to age and different social circles. He may have tried to hit on one or two of the girls and been rejected, that wouldn’t be surprising.

    1. @COMPUTER SCIENCE people keep saying she moved out. I’m not sure any of that is true. No source her family or lawyer or police have said anything like that. She hadn’t graduated yet, I think she still lived there. And during the time he was stalking them according to the phone pings she definitely did as there’s video footage of her bedroom from Tik Tok as well as police video of her saying she lives there when they did noise complaint citations

    2. @casey crites they didn’t work at a vegan restaurant. The restaurant is called mad Greek and xana and Maddie worked there. I am vegan and I’m from there it’s not vegan

    3. @Marissa Cline they didn’t work at a vegan restaurant. The restaurant is called mad Greek and xana and Maddie worked there. I am vegan and I’m from there it’s not vegan. They have as much vegan food as Taco Bell.

    4. @jim they didn’t work at a vegan restaurant. The restaurant is called mad Greek and xana and Maddie worked there. I am vegan and I’m from there it’s not vegan

    1. This scares me; I was attending Grad school in Pittsburgh, Pa. I was an avid runner during this time ( late ’80s – ’92 ) and noticed a guy was following me in his car. Several times he exited his vehicle and came towards me. It turned out that he was a gay man from Philadelphia which is 7 hours away from Pittsburgh. My uncle was in LE and he traced his license. Apparently, my uncle talked to Philly PD , and in turn, they questioned him. It turned out that he had a record, having raped two underage boys. Disgusting. After his ‘questioning, ‘ he disappeared!

  6. Unless the victims didn’t tell the parents they know or met Bryan.
Can’t ask them now. Only Bryan knows that information

  7. Shooting someone is one thing but using a knife to completely butcher four different people. That’s another level of evil by itself. I think there is a whole lot more to this story than everyone knows. Hopefully they’ve got the right person and if there is more than one hopefully they get them as well.

    1. @gts3004 C’mon. Didn’t we have enough unnecessary bullshit hurled at each other the last few years??? Leave it alone!

    2. @TallDryGlass or… as a future opponent of the court systems… a future threat to them…
save a small town campus city.. and take out a future enemy of the courts at once

  8. Not only the victims families suffer so does the killers family. Can you imagine having a son that has graduated with a masters degree go out and randomly kill a bunch of people. What would go thru your mind. Wasted lives for nothing and life or death in prison.

  9. It’s beyond me that no one seems to understand that she saw him walk out the slider and then locked herself in her room. She likely stayed in her room until 11:30 or so am when the other roommate got up and discovered the body on the floor remember Xana K was not found in her room on the bed with her boyfriend. Of course this is my opinion on explanation of why a call wasn’t made until noon.

    1. Dylan has not said it was Brian who she saw. She said she just saw a man. She didn’t identify him as Brian .

    2. I’ve read explanations by experts and there’s basically two possibilities. 1. She went into shock. She had heard noises from Kaylee’s room above her and she thought Kaylee was playing with her dog, and she heard Kaylee say, “There’s someone here.” Xana was down the hall from her, and then she heard Xana crying and opened the door to see Bryan walking past her, and out the sliding glass door. She couldn’t really process what was going on, maybe because she was paralyzed with fear. 2. Also, what I think could have played a role, the thing people mention the least, she could have been drunk still, and it was all unreal to her. So, she locked her door and went to bed, maybe hoping it had all just been a nightmare.

The state when we are just waking up from sleep, is called hypnopompic. It’s a very weird state where you’re half asleep and half awake, and sometimes you hear sounds that you misinterpret. Like you wake up hearing 4th of July fireworks and initially think someone banged on your front door or wall so hard it made it made the wall shake. Or, you’re not sure if the voices or sounds you heard were from a dream or from reality. The point experts make is that no one expects someone to enter their house and start stabbing their roommates to death.

    3. @Nadya ♡ Sure. And people react to alcohol in different ways, experience different realities when drunk and as you said even hallucinate or get reality confused with hallucinations. Some people get drunk and just become very sleepy. Some people get drunk and they get mean and aggressive, overly sensitive to perceived slights. Others get confused. A few may get paranoid, even if alcohol relaxes most people and loosens their inhibitions. And then there are levels of intoxication with varied symptoms. What puzzles me is why this wasn’t mentioned in the affidavit.

One thing is there are already too many people that try to blame the victims, that they’re drunk too much, that they don’t lock their doors, that they’ve had parties before with everyone in and out, that they may have been cruel to Bryan when he tried to talk to one of them, and on and on. So the police are careful in trying not to put out factors like that where the victims will be blamed, when this is such an extreme tragedy for the surviving friends and family members. There are enough incels out there trying to make Bryan a hero, or at least justifying part of his behavior.

  10. I can’t believe he visited the scene 12 times prior to the murders. That blew my mind and absolutely terrified me. That’s all this world is full of anymore, Terror.

    1. are those 12 visits only based on phone pings? If so, they could be very inaccurate i.e. he could have been anywhere around Moscow, not necessarily near that house. if 12 visits are based on actual sightings in door cams or CCTV with number plate recognizable, then that’s a different matter

    2. @Caspar Nigell There are no number plates visible in the vehicle footage which is very grainy and unclear. Others who know the Hyandai say it is not the same car and could have been different models or even another brand. White is a very common car colour, too.

    3. @Caspar Nigell He doesn’t even live there! Why is someone who lives in the East Coast all the way over here???

You humans aren’t very intelligent. You offer very little helpful information.

    1. Well how about the Uvalde TX boy/man who basically disintegrated little 19 ten year olds and 2 teachers, blasting one after another point blank while trapped in a classroom. They coudlnt be ID’d visually so much damage from AK rifle at short range, they forced to use dental records on some victims

    2. A young man in 2019 in Nashville, TN murdered 2 young men outside a bar and almost killed a third one all in a minute with a knife.

  11. There’s the possibility that the perp (probably but not yet proven to be Kohberger) had some sort of brief, casual contact with one of the victims, probably either Kaylee or Maddie and became obsessed with her–but she had no idea that he was obsessed with her.

For a different example, I have a friend who had a stalker for over a year before law enforcement caught him. It turned out to be a one time client at the office where she was the receptionist. She didn’t remember him but, in his mind, she had come on to him and was sending him coded messages by the way she opened the blinds at her home and at the office, etc (he had a prior history of stalking other women, too). One of the things that made the detective on her case start wondering about him was that he had stopped harassing his previous victim! My friend’s case is far from rare.

I’m beginning to wonder if the perp intended only to kill one person, probably either Kaylee or Maddie but was surprised when he found them sharing Kaylee’s room. Then he started to leave via the second story back door but Xana was awake, having just gotten her Door Dash order and either she saw him or he was afraid she’d seen him, so he forced/coerced her into her own room and also woke up Ethan.

Did he go back that morning to see what was happening or did he go back after he realised he couldn’t find his knife sheath and then lost his nerve about going back into the house during full daylight hours? If my hypothesis is correct that he only intended to kill one person but lost control of events, I’m betting he wanted to get the knife sheath back but lost his nerve.

    1. @my jams If this true, then there’s some short of communication between Uber eats and the suspect when they handed the food. Did the Uber eats ever come forward to the police? Even if this wasn’t true atlest they can confirm that Xana still alive at that time.

  12. They have evidence but it’s not sure fire evidence. All he hast to do is claim that his knife was stolen and that’s why his DNA was on the knife. There’s no law saying that you have to report a knife stolen. Other than that, they don’t have any evidence and they don’t have him on camera and he was in the area where they were killed many times but hey, he goes to college there. Too many holes in his case. I do think he did it but he could beat this case

  13. I think he knew one of them at least and much earlier than everyone is discussing. I think the police should be able to find information on his prior trips to Washington State. He decided to go to grad school there. That is quite unusual for a US Citizen living in the US not to make a prior visit to the university. He had to have had an interview. Maybe it was online but maybe not. Perhaps he was in local or student chat to find out what it is like to live and study there. It could have been a mere brief exchange but one that left him enamored or in-love.

    1. K’s father said awhile back that there were connections to her…now saying no prior connections???????????

  14. BK might have DID. His rumored comment about ‘was anyone else’ arrested, the schism between an intelligent student and a seemingly careless suspect.
And the early public description of his former high school classmates who describe him as a different person from one year to the next.
What if one of his bullied experiences fractured his mind a la ‘Me Myself & Irene’.

  15. During the 12 times Bryan was noted as driving by or in the area of the crime scene, has anyone looked into whether a party was going on during his drive bys?..

  16. I read some place that BK used to frequent a brewery and asked the waitresses what time they got of work, where they lived, etc. They said that in their system they had a note on his account that said he was saying creepy things to female waitstaff. I am wondering if he ate at the restaurant that two of the girls worked at. I hope police have checked his credit card accounts and cell phone pings to see if he was ever there
