  1. True words from these children. Well said. 👏🏾Hope their parents understand this.🇬🇧

  2. Corporal punishment (including standing and kneeling) should only come with repeated or flagrant disobedience, but never for repeated mistakes; and each should come with verbal counselling.

  3. Of course that would be the consensus of kids. No child likes discipline, especially corporal. I do agree though that physical abuse is a no, no but we can’t conflate the two; corporal and abuse, are not the same thing. Corporal punishment, like everything else that is good can be abused but the idea of expelling timeless wisdom because of a minority of miscreants is nonsensical and detrimental to creating societies that are law abiding, civil and responds correctly to authorities. And as the Good Book says, Proverbs 19:18b, if you strike him with the rod, you will save his soul from Sheoul (the grave)

    1. @Page Onethe foolishness that you are referring to. Is it the idea that you should love your neighbor as yourself and love your creator? Or is it the part that instructs you not to steal, kill or covet your neighbor’s property?

  4. “Talk them through the little things.” Wise words. Blessings and positive people along your path.
