    1. Most of Canada is ‘Liberal lite’. LOLZ. Maybe you need to stop whining as he also just won an election.

    2. @roof pizza I dont care if he just won. I didn’t vote for him either. He isn’t absolved of criticism. When him and justin Trudeau decided I couldn’t be with my father as he lay dying in a hospital for a month during covid, or have a funeral for him after, I lost absolute confidence in all of them and the garbage they push.

  1. They make basically minimum wage. No wonder they are striking, you seen what groceries cost? Go education workers! Don’t let Dougie bully you any more.

    1. @roof pizza Google is not YOUR friend. The average salary for CUPE workers is $39000 and that’s been all over the news, undisputed, for months. These workers are laid off at Christmas, March Break and summer because their job doesn’t exist.

  2. I hope they go on strike then I hope the whole teachers Federation collapses and then I hope parents pull every single student out of schools Across the Nation. Now you’ve done something and saved your children from the evil.

    1. @Jumbo Me I know there’s contracts. Unilateral per teacher. Any teacher can quit. And I wish they all would.

    1. @Fat Tony no I do not agree. Obviously there’s a bad apple in every basket but the say there’s lots. Nope

  3. Also the teachers need to have a way to express their concerns without risk of losing their jobs… Because they can’t tell the parents the truth of what’s going on… Because their hands are tied and their lips are sealed by the government and the education minister… Parents pay attention… It is not poor teaching… It is lack of numbers of supports for the children in the classroom

  4. Work to rule from hear to eternity. 9-3:30 and nothing else until you get an increase that keeps up with inflation and maintains real earnings. Etfo should not settle for anything less. The children will be educated but nothing beyond the basic contracted services!

  5. Doug Ford needs to mandate the teachings and philosophies of Trudeau’s male feminism in all levels of education.

  6. I felt he was very nice about it. I am sick and tired of the education unions constantly asking for more, they have been at war with every political party in power as long as i can remember. Teachers have it a lot better than most, well paid, benefits galore, pensions over the top and summers off, oh yeh they do do course’s in the summer LoL. maybe they should share some of the money with the others in the school system? Quit bitching the average parent who works is really tired of your poor me demands

  7. For any watching this, since Ford apparently forgot who he’s negotiating with. CUPE took a strike vote to see where they stand. Teachers are represented by ETFO and OSSTF, neither of which took a strike vote.
Lastly both unions asked to negotiate during the summer to figure out a deal and avoid classroom disruptions. The Conservatives/Ministry said no

    1. Don’t forget he gave himself a 16,000 pay increase then created a bill saying no provincial employee can get anything more than a 1.5 % increase

  8. Apparently the premier doesn’t even know which unions he’s negotiating with 😅 CUPE doesn’t represent the teachers Mr. Ford 😅😅😅

  9. Ok. So what you’re saying is you’re going to have your had forced by the teachers unions. Right on.. 1.25% on close to 100k is a lot more that 1.25% on 40k
