I want to be tested for the antibodies, since I wasn’t able to be tested for the virus when I was sick with a respiratory infection. There wasn’t enough test kits at the time.

@Steven Tucker Yes, pneumonia is a bacterial infection and can be a secondary infection to a viral infection. But the drugs that we use for bacterial infections would do nothing to treat the viral infection. The Viral Infection is what is causing our body to over react and in turn doing the most of the damage to our bodies.

Hospitals, clinics, etc. are losing money because they’re treating covid-19 instead of the expensive elective surgeries, cancer treatments, cosmetics, etc. that bring in the big bucks. _Non-essential_ health related fields are also being affected, and losing money, etc. e.g., dentists, orthoptists, laser surgeries, cosmetic surgeons, podiatrists, (and all the associated fields I can’t even think of) so that mean all these health care professionals, their nurses, techs, aids, suppliers, etc and everything basically not covid-19 related are facing massive budget cuts.

I have multiple relatives and know tons of others who work in healthcare and what they will do is diagnose someone with corona with no test and no proof, and put people on vents that don’t need them. It’s called padding the bill. The exaggerated numbers have already been debunked and the models were off by hundreds of percents. There is no reasonable excuse that people aren’t back to work now that it has come out that this has been all over blown. Hospitals should be returning to their usual functions. You are swallowing propaganda, period. It’s embarrassing how few of you can think for yourselves.

What exaggerated numbers? Are you talking about the deaths or confirmed covid-19 cases the number of people infected or what?
Models are just educated guestimates, or predications about the future, based on what’s known and happening at the time. Of course they’ll change since nobody can accurately predict the future and/or how much changes in behaviors , e.g. social distancing, stay-at-home measures, limiting social gatherings, etc, will affect those predictions. If only a few people or only one city changes their behavior the predictions won’t change much but if large numbers of people and/or multiple states have their populations change, then the effects will be much greater.
The fact that you don’t understand what a model is is your problem. You can’t blame others for your ignorance.
So a hospital gets $13k, and for a small fraction, an additional $39k for each covid-19 patient. How does that compare money-wise to all of the transplants that are now being postponed, e.g. heart transplant $1,382k, liver transplant $812k, bone marrow transplants $892k, or all the other surgeries and procedures that are currently being postponed, e.g. open heart surgery $324k, angiolplasty (to open blocked blood vessels) $32k, etc.
Health is a very expensive business in the US those $13k costs are far cheaper than most of procedures that would normally be performed nor does it make up for all of the other non-essential health procedures (that I listed in part) that are also being postponed with no alternative, e.g. covid-19 testing, to take their place and provide some income.
Sorry but you sound really young and/or inexperienced and/or uneducated. Many of these things are common sense, or would be if you kept yourself informed.

Adam, why the fuss about it? It’s just like getting your blood sugar level checked. Are you scared of needles? You do not have to take the antibody test. But I’m first in line for it, for we felt a bit sick, also on the chest, for some days and I’d like to know if that was ‘it’. So I can return to shaking hands with customers without fear of infecting them or myself.
