I think it’s really confusing to know as a culture we add violence in whatever we are doing , I believe true maroons are about freedom of speech and rights because we were once under slavery (so to speak ) based on history analysis. It’s not acceptable because the maroons fought to be freed from violence from the British which was a dictatorship ruling. Now we have our maroon people living like they are British with this dictatorship type of attitude. Jamaicans need to feel cherished and given the rights which we fought for , we don’t need this type of violent activities coming from such a cultural and historical society as the maroons. More and more we continue to destroy this culture more and more with unnecessary aggressive behaviors
