  1. This is hilarious! I love Adam Sandler and have many good memories watching his movies. He definitely deserves this award!

    1. Please! A few good skits on SNL and a few unfunny comedy movies? They’re just giving these awards away! 🙄

    2. @Garry The amount of support Adam Sandler has given to the comedy movie business behind the scenes is INSANE. The amount of stand-up comics he’s supported is INSANE.
The guy deserves the award not for the quality of his movies, but for the quality of his character and impact on Hollywood and the comedy scene in general.

You don’t have to like his movies; I’m not a fan of Taylor Swift. But did you know she not only writes her own lyrics but also the melodies? Nobody does that anymore! NOBODY! How can I not think she’s kind of amazing as a person and deserving of accolades for her obviously successful work? That’d just be weird, and I think I can be better than that. I think you can be better than that, too.

  2. He didn’t win this award for his movies, he won it for his character and how much he’s given, supported and done behind the scenes for comedic actors, writers and stand-up comedians.
He’s an amazing guy and deserves recognition; he’s a beloved member of Hollywood’s comedy elite and helped build and preserve comedy as a genre for generations.
Yes, even though he made Jack and Jill.

  3. This kid in me during the 90’s and early 2000 are laughing and getting emotional at the same time… Idina menzel did a great job and funny at the same time too! Congrats adam sandler! ❤️❤️❤️
