Since none of the pertaining offices ever received any notification that those documents were declassified, please do tell all of us uninformed when that declassification took place and why it was so important for Trump to hold on to those documents that – even if they had been declassified – should have still been returned to the National Archive.
There appears to be absolutely NO documentation that these declassifications ever took place (except for Trump’s and his lawyer’s claim of a sweeping declassification) – especially NONE while he was in office. If he declassified them after he left the Whitehouse, they are still classified because only the sitting president has the power to declassify. Maybe he wanted them to be declassified but missed the opportunity …? Still makes them classified 🤷‍♀🤷‍♀
Since none of us here truly know, don’t you think the DOJ is doing the right thing to investigate to find out the truth?

    1. @Bad Noxin Uh – I would just call it an accusation. And I get your drift about the overall political system – it’s inherently flawed in so many ways that there will never be a truly bipartisan working arrangement between the two parties. The radicalization of either sides of the aisle is driving both systems away from common ground. It’s been reduced to winning at all cost.

    2. @Golf Fanatic well fair enough, accusation it is. But yeah, that’s why I was saying earlier the only group I’m with is my family. I stopped participating in this, let’s just call it tribalism I guess, years ago. Some of this nonsense people are on is just too much. Sometimes I feel like we’re all on this crazy train together and I’m looking at most people like, wtf is wrong with y’all 😂

    3. @Bad Noxin I hear ya. Sometimes it’s fun to spar about politics but lately it’s gotten so ugly and divided I might just hang it up and read Lord of the Rings trilogy again. 😉

    1. When Trump said “the best people,” he meant people who looked like his idea of how presidential aides would look. He meant he would choose them as if he were casting a TV show. He wasn’t equipped to judge them on substance. Why he ended up picking Sarah Huckabee Sanders as his press secretary, I have no idea. Maybe he was already running out of people who were willing to work for his administration.

    1. affidavit are one sided legal documents , until there’s an indictment , the potential accused need not need to know what’s in it .. why all accommodations being provided this man ?

    2. @Mr. E he’ll claim , it was his underlings that told him he could declassify anything , even the facts about ketchup on the wall

    3. @sonny johnson Actually trump’s attorneys didn’t speak up in court and ask for it to be released. Trump was very vocal, as were Republicans. Garland probably gleefully said OK to the magistrate.

  1. Why didn’t Trump “just comply” like he expects US citizens to do? Inevitably, teflon wears out and things will stick to it.

  2. Lincoln-“Four score and seven..”
Kennedy-“Ask not what your country can do for..”
    Reagan-“Tear down this wall”.
    Trump-“Grab e’m by the p…”.

    1. @Gregg Ron And I think he’s hilarious – clearly not a Trumpist; but come on, dude, you gotta give it to him for funny.

  3. I have a feeling the DOJ is ok with this redacted affidavit, that’s why they came back so quick. They had this on deck.

    1. @miapdx One day Trump awoke to a terrible stench, and he became concerned that the weasel that lived atop his head may have died. So he went to the doctor, and when he walked in, the doctor immediately exclaimed, “Sweet sassy molassy, where did you get the pig?” Trump explained, “But Doctor, it isn’t a pig, it’s a weasel.” The doctor replied, “I was talking to the weasel.”

    2. @Sacre’ Bleu I once thought of becoming a psychic myself, but in the end, I just couldn’t see any future in it.

    3. @jones my you’ve been on a roll! Thoroughly enjoyable friend, that was thoroughly enjoyable. 👍🏽🌹😘

  4. “I’m being treated very unfairly, it’s horrible what they are doing to me, the likes of which no one has ever seen in this great nation. Can you believe it folks, they are trying to lock me up for all the crimes everyone knows I committed, it’s truly horrible.” – Trump

    1. @DM if people did exactly as you said , their would be no divisiveness , and conspiracy would be fringe and not become mainstream in our politics

    1. No Demo-rats- the correct question is what is Kellyanne doing with Jabba The Nut? We all have women that are to good for us, but this pair is just unnatural.

  5. Thanks Mitch for inadvertently gifting the USAG’s office with Merrick Garland. Preciate you homie.

    1. @Jonathan morrison I hear what you’re saying. But it’s not wise to release the names knowing full well his cult will go off the deep end.

Remember, a FBI facility had a gunman illegally try to gain access into the building. Now that’s a building that’s gonna have people who are armed to defend themselves.

A witness without those protections will more than likely meet an unfortunate end. And if you think I’m wrong, the aforementioned event and Jan 6th wants to talk to you.

    2. @glquam07 All I am saying is that it is illegal to take someone to trial who doesn’t know who the accuser is. It would be a mistrial most likely. I am not a fan of trump but you can’t just make up legal rules as you go.

    3. @Jonathan morrison So when is the trial? Oh, right there isn’t one yet. They’ll get to find that out once he’s been indicted. That’s how it does work. Criminals don’t get evidence, the who’s who or further information the prosecution has on them prior 😂

    4. Agree with you R S. As soon as he would find out who gave the info to the FBI, Trump and his team would close in on his victim, and Trump would do without a trace of compassion. He’s probably one of the most ruthless men in our world today.

    1. Please reveal the name to us, oh psychic guru. It can be anyone from Melania or Ivanka to the Secret Service detail to s cleaning lady.

    2. @james zimmerman or any combination of the above, who ever it is needed to be pretty close to give some of the locations in the search.

  6. The Orange Pumpkin worked 50 plus years as a Career Criminal. He deserves all the grief and Legal Problems that will come his way.

    1. @Michael Jones For your information only, a YouTube Reply should add something to the topic in the YouTube Comment. Thanks for the reply.

    2. Absolutely. Why should he get away with his criminal activities but other criminals face the consequences. IT’S HIS TURN – ABOUT TIME!

  7. I hope the DOJ doesn’t release any information so that Donald becomes even more paranoid and continues to squirm.

  8. I swear, George Conway always has a perfectly astute way of interpreting the Trump mind frame. Whenever you want to deduce the motive behind why Trump would want something, just pinpoint the reason how come a mob boss might want it. It’s the same thought process.
