  1. Google has been filtering its search engine for a few years. Eventually only government approved content will be on the internet.

    1. @Mark Twain was just agreed to in Ontario and Atlantic provinces, will be implemented at breakneck speed to get the healthcare funding it’s tied to, so a year tops.

    2. Mind readers know no privacy. They could experience your experience.. or not.. but there not you. Words from a off the ledge possible skitzo.. no not really but lmao

    1. The problem is it won’t be on the other news sites either if the bill goes through , more control by your government

    2. @Sam The bill is to help journalists Sam, not limit them. It only means that google can’t steal their journalism without compensation.

That isn’t government control, they are trying to get compensation for journalists work. Google is the one that is in the wrong here.

    1. Until civilian war starts here on Canadian soil. Canadians are very close to that breaking point, wait til the start pushing digital ID.

    2. @hank snot well, when the election is over before the polls close in Manitoba………….
The only way it will ever change is if we form some sort of equal representation for and between all provinces, buuuuttttt, that would mean less federal power…….

  2. Not a surprise. They haven’t been telling the truth in so long, at least this announcement might encourage a few stragglers to find the real sources.

  3. I won’t pay for the internet anymore once it’s totally ruined…looks like I’ll be saveing more money.

  4. If you like having every detail of your life recorded and sold wholesale, stick with Google, Apple, Edge, and Chrome.

    1. Everything tracks you on the net unless you specifically go out of your way, not to be tracked. VPNS are monitored by ISPs. You have to do layers upon layers in order to hide. Don’t just think because you don’t use those 4 things, that you are safe

  5. HA! they’re going to start? That implies they weren’t doing that already. Now google is just making a point of talking about it. News outlets that they’ve blacklisted are already purged from results across their entire product platform.

  6. Nobody should question anymore how it could happen back in the 1930‘s in Germany. It happens right now in front of our eyes!

    1. How does he get that?? Out of this news broadcast? lol I don’t think you really get what’s going on here buddy

  7. It’s time to hold our members of parliament accountable. They were sent to the house of commons by OUR votes to represent OUR best interests. Find out if the MP representing your riding voted Yay or Nay and hold them to account.

    1. It’s time to realize that citizens holding governments accountable has never been a thing. They’ll yield just enough to maintain the charade of “democracy” and keep you pacified, but ultimately they hold the power, and you are to them a resource just like cattle.
