    1. I’d take it even further. Patriotism is Tribalism imposed on humanity by politicians. My humanity isn’t designated by lines we’ve drawn on a Planet none of us can leave. It holds our humanity back.

    1. @Joseph Stanhope – We will have to fix what is ailing our government: the electoral college, plurality voting and the Senate…to prevent our total collapse.

    1. The Logic is beyond me too friend. how is it a handout when you pay for taxes as well?. 🤷‍♀️

imagine paying taxes & the guy at Mar-a-largo & taxes politicians feed off those taxes YOUR TAXES. witch he ate about over $1.8 billion tax money in 4yrs as fake president.🤷‍♀️
& when you are in trouble? & freeze to death?. they say we are not government handouts. you know what is wrong with this picture?

those guys? those republicans? have not been PUNCHED in the face by a REAL AMERICAN with families that have died paying taxes in the COLD. 👈🤷‍♀️
I blame Taxes voter for their hatred & now God pretty much have spoken. he lets evil people speak loud with HATRED to show you who they’re.

& what’s sad? is that TAXENS not all of them but most of texans? will vote for TRASH RACIST REPUBLICANS back in office. 👈🤦

    2. I know this! Because of silly laws like Citizens United that allow the energy provider to donate to political parties who do nothing to make sure the power company keeps the heat on & your family doesn’t freeze death so the company can save a few bucks.

    3. It’s not- it’s a life necessary service. The mayor is a nasty, narcissistic whack job! Why vote for him?!

  1. *”We won with poorly educated, I love the poorly educated!”*
                      – Trump, 2016

Trump supporters: i dun no wut dat means but make america grate agen 2020!!!1!

    1. It’s mainly the large cities that are suffering and they tend to vote Democratic. The Republicans are spread out more and aren’t feeling it as much. Same happened with covid-19. Republican “leaders” are happy to sit back and let them struggle and then blame the Democratic mayors and county officials.

    2. My fellow Texans are single-issue voters and as such are easily led by the nose into championing all sorts of things that are in direct opposition to their best interests.
I think the technical term is: “morons”

  2. The Evil Empire is now here. Emperor NcConnell and Darth Vader Graham are out to destroy good America. May the force be with us

  3. Mayor Boyd is off his medication.
Making sure essential services like electricity never fail is governments responsibility.
    Texas GOP failure. Period.

  4. Someone needs to subject Tim Boyd to his “survival of the fittest” mantra. Let’s see how long he lasts when surrounded by families who have had a loved one freeze to death under his watch.

  5. Those who wanted to secede now have hat in hand begging for federal assistance. President Biden should tell them to cut more trees for firewood, and shovel faster.
