Gwyneth Paltrow is on trial in Utah after being sued for a ski crash in 2016, referred to as a "hit and run." The trial, set for eight days, began Tuesday.
The celebrity wellness influencer and "Shakespeare in Love" star was sued by Terry Sanderson in 2019, who claimed she seriously injured him during a crash on the beginner slopes at Deer Valley Resort in Park City on Feb. 26, 2016.
Sanderson says the crash seriously injured him and Paltrow left him on the mountain without help. Paltrow alleges Sanderson plowed into her and then told her he was fine.

Than he could’ve very well said I’m fine and than once saw her face closely recognized she is a celebrity and now is not ok and wants the “Golden Opportunity” but what we do know is a collision occurred. And one has more money than the other and can afford this. And if it is her fault than she needs to pay him. Simple as that. I been skiing it ain’t pretty. If your careless and wreckless and cause an injury that actually can result in death believe it or not Sonny Bono ring a bell he slammed into a tree and died from it. This could’ve gone rapidly bad from the events following once collided. You all take a risk and have to use caution. If such massive injuries does occur due to negligence and you just so happen to be a high profile person don’t use that as an excuse that “it’s because I’m a celebrity they are suing me” like no if you genuinely messed up and hurt him or her than own up to it and now pay their medical and suffering. Obviously this went on to trial so she has been pushing back from jump. But here we are now. So hopefully justice will prevail for whichever party was at fault. And the verdict is fair.
