What is Donald charging Secret Service currently to protect he AND his family? As a perk of being a former President, they receive continued protection and other benefits, while the taxpayers continue to foot the bill for these criminals.

There was talk during trump’s administration about the overcharge for rooms for the secret service and nothing was done about it then. Trump gets away with everything even now that he’s a private citizen 🙄 😒
Trump’s process wasn’t “what is a reasonable rate for Secret Service to pay at his resorts to protect him” – it was “what exorbitant rates can we charge them and get away with it?”

There are per diem rates for every city and state and even overseas when you travel overseas. The treasury should simply request a refund plus interest on the overpayments. That’s a simple solution for the audit section of the Treasury.
Need paperwork and proof as to what charges should have been vs what was charged and for how many people. Why is the government paying 60 to 100 dollars for 1 hammer. No one talking about this. WHY?

The paperwork was the hotel’s ledger. Look, everything doesn’t have to be hair on fire. If he deliberately overcharged the government, there are also penalties for that. We mustn’t argue over elementary accounting. I have no idea what you are talking about relative to hammers. In this case of the hammers, prior to awarding the contract, RFQ goes out and due diligence is conducted. Any overcharges must be pre-approved otherwise the government pays the agreed upon price.
