  1. Would this be possible hundreds of years ago or would to prince say off with his/her head? What if the monarchy revives this behavior?

    1. 😂😂😂 Harry would be hoping this would never come back, he would be the first put into the Tower of London, closely followed by the wife

  2. OMG – no wonder he fears the same plight as his mother 😢 that’s so sad!! why isn’t it a crime to chase someone to death – literally!??? just for a picture??? they are just people, trying to live a normal life & this happens. i feel sorry for famous people, they are never safe, can’t trust hardly anyone, it doesn’t seem all that glamorous if you look past the money

    1. Why the hell they speed and blame the reporters for following them in pursuit. They are the one causing the accidents by speeding. Are the photographers going to kill then. They wanted privacy then stay away.

  3. There are 36,000 cops in NYC (look it up) and yet not one single one of them noticed a car chase in the congested NYC streets? Where’s the police report?

    1. This is a lie. There is no way to get into a high-speed car chase in New York City. the only thing you’re gonna do for two hours in a row has been stuck in traffic.

    2. @ChelseaNYC no one said it was high speed.
Also it has also been reported that two police officers were nearly I hired.
      They had a police escort

  4. This isn’t 1997, we got social media and public cameras on every street corner. They would be showing this if it happened.

  5. The MILLIONS of cameras in NY and there is NO video? Even the taxi driver who picked them up at the Police Dept. said it wasn’t a chase, nor was it dangerous. It was just New York.

  6. On Wednesday afternoon, the NYPD released a statement to PEOPLE reading, “On Tuesday evening, May 16, the NYPD assisted the private security team protecting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. There were numerous photographers that made their transport challenging. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at their destination and there were no reported collisions, summonses, injuries, or arrests in regard.”

    1. This is being reported as happening after the event. This is from USA Today:

“The couple was involved in a car chase fueled by paparazzi Tuesday, their spokespeople said. The pair and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, were followed for more than two hours by half a dozen vehicles after leaving a charity event in New York. The chase “at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi” to capture photos of the couple “resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and two NYPD officers.”

      Followed by:
“New York City Mayor Eric Adams told reporters Wednesday afternoon he hadn’t yet received a full briefing about the incident. However, he said it is “reckless and irresponsible” for vehicles to be chasing each other in New York City, especially with its dense population. Adams added that “two of our officers could have been injured.”

Obviously, I have no idea what happened, personally….but, this is what happens when you embellish stories & play the victim at every possible turn. It makes it really hard to take anything they say seriously. If this was as terrifying as it’s being described, that’s awful. No one should have to feel that unsafe. But, they also described their flight from Canada to America as their “freedom flight” which seems hyperbolic, at the very least. It’s hard to take this stuff seriously, which sucks…because if this is true, it should be taken very seriously. But, is it true? We don’t know anymore & that’s not our fault.

  7. First of all it is ABSOLUTELY stupid for the security to speed just because paparazzi are following you. Very STUPID.

  8. Paparazzi seem to be in a gray zone with law enforcement. If these weren’t paparazzi it would be called harassment.

  9. Why are we blaming Paparazzi. Harry and Megans driver didnt have to speed. Whats more important someone getting killed or not having thier picture taken?

  10. Why doesn’t the NYPD get the evidence and prosecute those people. They could have killed someone. Get on the police to investigate this. I live in NY and I don’t want my life or my family’s lives at risk

  11. That’s the Harkles’ whole point — to make it sound as reminiscent of Diana as possible. Trying to outrun or lose paparazzi is stupid. In Diana’s case the driver was drunk so his judgment was impaired. But this was on purpose. To try and make a [nonexistent] point. WW Privacy Tour.

  12. I guarantee they over-dramatized this in an effort to validate Harry’s security concerns and also try to draw a parallel between Meghan Markle and Princess Di. These two are yuck.
