I would like to understand exactly who gets what? How do hospitals make money in Canada? Some appear to be foundations that accept donations. The doctors are treated like contractors ? What is the median salary? A documentary or tear down of the Canadian health care system would be interesting.

@Langton Industries again statistics actually back that up, the more private healthcare, there is the less optimize the system is the more expensive it is, and the less positive outcomes… Just read some statistics

I have to side with Ford on this. You unions just seem greedy. Some of the issues come from outside ford government. Like not giving doctors abroad faster certification or stopping nurses from working hospitals cuz they’re unvaxxed. More money won’t solve anything.

Canadians want timely medical service. Unions have demonstrated that they are incompetent when it comes to delivering timely healthcare service no matter how much funding they get. It’s never enough money and even doctors and nurses are getting fed up with hospital administration. All the money starts at the top and is slow to trickle down to those actually caring for patients.
