@dave mitchell The previous administration was was worth even less than worthless. But that’s neither here nor there. It wasn’t either administration which leaked. I’ll promise you that. There are other people in government who have access to all that information, and one of them is spending like there is no end to money, even though nothing apparent has changed in that person’s income. Not going to drop a name, just in case the person is innocent, but if I’m right, we’ll all say, “Yep, makes sense.” Then one party will start to try to defend the idiot while the other tries to score points off of it. Same old nation in decline crap that we’ve been experiencing for awhile now. It really sucks that one of our parties and their associated news outlets are using the neuropshychiatric profile of a specific group of people to manipulate them and get them to believe things that just aren’t true.

I think this from inexperience people who are not really qualified to review intelligence documents being careless or worse believe the lie that Ukraine is not worth defending. Either way the person or persons responsible should be held accountable. Think about all the people who are not qualified to run those committee, but get voted on them anyway. This maybe a jail time offense whether you Congress person or not, homeland security etc. I hope they move quickly to arrest the people responsible

This is not surprising UNFORTUNATELY. There are serious implications, most certainly, but when you consider our tech and data breaches as well as imposter AI capabilities, will we really be able to differentiate fact from fiction and the true origin of such information. IMO, we as Americans tout our free speech , a bit too loudly and broadly when it comes to news outlets and media , social media, newspapers/magazines etc.. We don’t realize how much information should be considered sensitive before delivering to the worldly masses. We give away far too much , opening doors that will welcome hostility rather than hospitality. We don’t need to appease every broadcasted inquiry with broadcasted answers. Our enemies will find allies because, as we all know , money does talk, especially big money . Disgruntled people with positions that allow them access to information, those who feel they are owed something or who feel a need for vengeance, will not think past the money. The worst things that can happen to the US now, are traitors and treason actors. We already have political in-fighting,so this would not be a surprise , especially after witnessing Jan 6 insurrection instigated by then President Trump. In America, anything is possible!

simple solution is to require more clearances and make people leave their phones, get patted down, prior to coming in. that way you can better pinpoint leaks like they do in private sector.
