I’m a father and I hold myself to a higher standard than I use to to show my son and daughter that it is not acceptable to be garbage. @Caius Keys problem is Democrats are the main proponents of masks, and the protesters are mostly left leaning. Trump and Republicans, however, have equated covid-19 to the flu and have repeatedly downplayed the virus to avoid panic, leading to Republicans often not wearing any PPE at all (some do, just not a majority).
I think Dr. Fauci is fair, he took no position against the protestors and now he’s taking no position on Trump rallies.

@gem anscombe At ours all that is required, but if they take their mask off after entering the store nobody says a thing. Also the sanitizer is usually empty. It’s mostly trumpturds here though.
@Mister Hat I’ve heard similar accounts about rural Ohio. Businesses there have signs explaining procedures. Another notice says they understand there are medical exemptions to masks-wearing and if you are exempt in that way, you needn’t wear one and you won’t be questioned. People don’t wear them. Cases are rising, duh!
